Dr. Goutam Pada Shome, MD

Have had breathing problems for last couple of years. Wanted to see if COPD might be the problem after over 10 years of smoking. Went to the appointment, took some breathing tests, nurse said Dr. would call me with results. Asked if I was going to see the Dr. so I could ask some questions. Nurse said he was " in clinic " ( what ever that means). One week later I called abut results of the tests. Was told the Dr. had sent results to my primary Dr. Asking why he would do that, she said "that is how it works". Called my primary Dr., she had not received any results and had to call Shome. Also said that is not how it works. His results was that I have allergies or asthma and no COPD. I will be seeking another Dr. that has the time to actually see his patients and talk to them. VERY VERY Disappointed in Dr. Shome!!

Dr Shome is one of the best doctors I have ever visited! So smart, and very willing to get to the bottom of my problems! I have recommended him to every one I know!

It was Dr.Shome that finally figure out what was wrong with me. It will be a year next month since I have been on his allergy shots and I have seen a dramatic difference. No more wasted time and money!!!

Misdiagnoses allergies. Shots did more harm than good. Second opinion dr found no allergies to treat.
