Dr. Chae Mihngreg Ha, MD

Dr. Ha's diagnosis, that my back "is a mess," was not helpful. His treatment plan was, "When you are in so much pain that you can't stand it, then you might consider surgery." He did not offer any advice about non-surgical pain management. Dr. Ha is totally devoid of empathy. My visit with him was the worst I have ever had with any doctor.

Dr. Ha has been very professional while still being personable. He has been very accommodating and understanding. He operated on my lower back to repair a herniated disc which resulted in immediate pain relief for me. I had looked at his reviews before I started seeing him, and I believe that some people took his direct, to-the-point way of talking to mean that he doesn't care. I did not find this to be the case, and I appreciated his brevity and professionalism.

I have chronic back pain and after a visit with Dr Ha was told my back was "trashed." The only thing he did for me was to send me to another person in the clinic who gave me 2 injections in my back, which relieved the pain for only 3 weeks. After. That he said there was nothing more he could do for me. I felt he just wrote me off either due to my age or he just didnt want to deal with me. He is attitude toward me was not good.

Very thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. He focused on conservative care for my problem first, with surgery as a last resort. Highly recommend!

This docter does not care about you he cares about the money. Beware

Dr. Ha spent about 2 minutes with me each time I saw him and said nothing that helped me on my quest to figure out why I've been having chronic back pain. Said my MRI was fine and sent me on my way. Very poor personal skills and is definitely in his field for the money. Doesn't care about his patients. Would never rev comment him.

Dr Ha performed cervical fusion on my spine. The operation was successful. He is friendly, knowledgeabe, and timely.I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone with a spinal problem.

Dr. Ha is uncaring and rude. X-rays and an MRI revealed multiple bulging discs and arthritis. Dr. Ha said "this is something you'll have to deal with the rest of your life. And it's just going to get worse". He had no suggestions for pain relief or PT or anything to help. I left his office and immediately scheduled an appointment with a wonderful doctor at The Center. With steroids and muscle relaxers I was much better within a few days.

Dr. Ha is not the most personal doc out there but he is methodical, thorough and appears to seek the best solution for the patient. He didn't try to persuade me in to one option or the other concerning my back problems. Instead, offered me solutions and the pros and cons of each. I'm happy to recommend him.
