 |  Scarless facelift  |  show details
by Janna on Mar 20th, 2013

I had a face lift procedure with Dr. Roberts, and I really like my results for several reasons. The most important to me is that my friends and family (other than my immediate family) don't know I had a face lift. I just get comments all the time about how great my skin looks or how great I look. And NONE of them ask if I had a face lift. It was very important to me that the results be natural looking and apparently they are. For people who don't know me, people constantly say I look like I'm in my 30's. For instance, I just had my eye prescription changed & they took a picture of me with my new glasses. I went back to have them adjusted and the technician was looking at my picture and chart, and out of the blue, she said no way. This can't be right. You can't be in your 50's! Happens all the time, but nobody says did you have a face lift. The second most important thing to me was that Dr. Roberts did a meticulous job on the sutures and incisions. You absolutely cannot see, with or without makeup, any incision lines! I can wear a pony tail at the beach and there is not a stitch of evidence that I had a facelift. The only thing I regret is Dr. Roberts talked me out of a forehead lift, and I wish I would have done the forehead lift at the same time too. Anyway, I would like to thank Dr. Roberts and his staff for an incredible experience and Dr. Roberts for his impecible results.

 |  Just a consultation so far but am getting mini face lift!  |  show details
Jan 31st, 2012

I was very apprehensive before I had my consultation, but left feeling extremely confident about the decision to get a mini facelift. Robin, his assistant, was very thorough and caring, answered all of my questions, and carefully explained my options in language I can understand, no medical mumbo jumbo. After we talked, Dr. Roberts came in. What a breath of fresh air compared to other surgeons I've consulted. He didn't try to upsell me, and he was careful in examining my face, considering and discussing all of my options (fillers, etc vs the lift). I will post again after my procedure, but I'm doing it!

I have worked with Dr. Roberts at Roberts Cosmetic Surgery since March 2010. I am responding to the unidentified individual who claimed Dr. Roberts did not perform a good face lift on him/her. I want to say that the office has not had a single complaint about any facial plastic surgery procedure since I've known Dr. Roberts. The staff highly respects his meticulous work. If fact one staff member's mom is having a face lift next month at the staff member's recommendation; and my girlfriend and ex both just recently had face lifts with Dr. Roberts. They are ecstatic. They absolutely love the results because they are not overdone and incisions are almost imperceptible. I have also watched Dr. Roberts at times in procedures. I have noticed that he takes much more time and is much more attentive than other plastic surgeons I know. I am posting this comment mostly because I have seen how much pride and care Dr. Roberts puts into each procedure, and it makes me mad that it is so easy for a competitor to post false comments on the Internet. If you want to know what patients think of Dr. Roberts work, check out the testimonials on his web site.

I feel for the first time proud of my side view - now when I walk past a big mirror or glance into my reflection on a glass window -- I stop to look! Not run past it in order to not view my tummy pooch! This experience has really inspired me to take control of my eating habits and exercise routine. I want to continue feeling great about my physical appearance and Dr. Roberts has helped me achieve that goal. Thank you Dr. Roberts and your great staff!

Feb 26th, 2011

In response to the patient that posted the negative comment about a face lift with us, we polled each and every face lift customer from the past year. EVERY SINGLE PATIENT REPORTED THEY ARE HAPPY WITH RSULTS. It is impossible for us to uncover the identity of individuals who post malicious comments. That is the nature of the Internet now. Perhaps it is a competitor making disparaging comments to hurt our business. I would ask that you seriously consider the nature of an anonymous post and give us a chance before you make a decision. I take great pride in my work and try my absolute hardest to do the very best job possible with each and every patient.Dr Roberts

For 20 years I hated my chin....it was all I ever saw in pictures. I went to Dr. Roberts and he spent a long time discussing options, realistic expectations and talking about the procedure. After talking with him I not only wanted the surgery but knew I was in good hands. THe procedure went exactly as he described and his caring manner and constant checking to see how I was made me feel really cared for that day. I had my chin and belly done and I was up and around the next day....Now 6 months later I have dropped 4 dress sizes ....my chin looks great and people constantly tel me I look ten years younger. Dr. Roberts continues to be sweet and concerned and always ready to spend time to chat when I visit. He will be special to me because he helped me change my life and the way I see myself. If you want a Dr. who truly cares......I couldn't recommend a better doctor or man.

My experience at Dr. Robert's office was excellent. The girls in the office were absolutely precious, helpful and extremely efficient...might I add VERY patient. :) Dr. Roberts is a perfectionist. He was very thorough, and imformative the whole time during my procedure. He was also, caring. Also, after the procedure really caring and kind. His demeanor was very professional. The procedure went very well. I felt almost no pain. I would recommend anyone, young and old to Dr. Roberts. I was in the office for a couple of hours on the day of the procedure. Then I went home to recover. the next day I had very little pain or discomfort. I absolutely love my results! My friends and family giving me praises about I look. They tell me I look like I'm 30 years old, and I haven't looked this good in a long time. I am so happy I chose Dr. Roberts at Robert's cosmetic surgery center. I highly recommend Dr. Roberts and his staff.

Dec 8th, 2010

I had a facial resurfacing procedure with Dr Roberts. I have not had this procedure before, but have had some other procedures at other cosmetic medical facilities. I have problems with wrinkles, primarily. Crows feet and wrinkles around my lower face. I don't feel like I am hung up on my looks, but just don't like the face looking back at me in the mirror as much as I used to. Anyway, I decided to have the procedure at Roberts Cosmetic Surgery Center. I really like the staff. They are caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Roberts seemed to be a bit in a hurry, but still spent a fair amount of time with me. I like him. He seems like a really nice, down to earth person, not like some other doctors who have treated me. The procedure was more painful than I had expected, but tolerable. After the procedure, my skin seemed to itch a lot for a few days. Apparently some people have that side effect, but it want away after a few days. My skin then felt a bit sand paperish. I am told that is normal too, as the skin exfoliates. I am already getting a lot of comments about how good my skin looks and it has only been a couple weeks. I am told that it will get even better over the next few weeks. I liked the staff, the doctor and the facilities. As a result of my experience, I not only would, but am, going back to have a face lift with Dr Roberts next summer. I saw a patient when I was in the office who had a face lift the previous day, and she looked really good for one day out. You could tell how carefully he had done the incisions. While I like the skin resurfacing and it has made a noticeable difference, I really need a face lift. I'll post back again after the face lift.

 |  D.O.T. skin resurfacing  |  show details
Dec 6th, 2010

I did a lot of research before deciding to do the D.O.T. skin resurfacing. I knew I wanted a board certified doctor to do the procedure. I scheduled a consult, and was very impressed with the location, staff, and Dr. Roberts. I arrived on my appointment date, and was very impressed with the reception, and pre-op prep. The procedure was as described in my consult. I was ready for the "sunburn" effect... and you have to be prepared for that...you peel and flake just like a sunburn! But if you can handle that, you take 10 years off your skin...or more! I have had numerous comments on my skin, about how I manage to keep my face so young-looking. Just had a birthday, and on FB, my niece commented "what is your secret for keeping your skin so great!".... I didn't tell her it was Dr. Roberts! I highly recommend this procedure for taking 10 years off!

Dec 6th, 2010

I just had a DOT procedure from Dr Roberts last week. This is my second DOT procedure. I had my first DOT procedure about a year and a half ago from a different doctor. The first DOT procedure was very painful. It was painful during the procedure and after the procedure. I swore I would never have a DOT treatment again because it was so darn painful. My crow's feet were beginning to come back & I was complaining to a good friend and my friend suggested I have another procedure from Roberts Cosmetic Surgery. I told him he was crazy. He was persistent, telling me that Dr Roberts does such great work. I thought yada yada. Anyway to make a long story short, he kept nagging me to at least make an appointment, so I did and loved the staff (as my friend said I would). So I scheduled a DOT treatment, but when it got close, I canceled. My friend did not give up, so I scheduled again. He told me I would not have near as much pain and I would love the results even more because they have a newer DOT machine. Well, I have to tell you, he was right. I felt almost no pain during this procedure. They were meticulous during the procedure as compared to the other doctor's office. I was very impressed. The next couple of days were a piece of cake too. No pain and almost no discomfort. Just like before, my skin has started to flake, but I can already tell that this is going to be a great result. I can't wait to see the final results in a week. My skin was still looking smooth and youthful from the last procedure, except for my crow's feet and a few new spots. I am 50 and many people think I look like I'm thirty something since the last procedure. I can't because my skin looks so amazing. I can't imagine how good it is going to look now. Thank you Dr Roberts!

I recently had Slimlipo done around my waist. I went to Dr. Roberts for the procedure. He did a wonderful job at being thorough when explaining the procedure. I wasn't really scared or nervous because I felt confident with how he prepared me. After my procedure I had a day and a half of downtime (although I didn't really think it was downtime because I felt fine!). I have already lost a couple of inches off my waist. I am really impressed with Dr. Roberts and the team at Roberts Cosmetic Surgery Center. I will definetly be going back!

I was really scared when I decided to start researching liposuction but I know I wanted to get rid of my "muffin top" bad! I had heard of Dr. Roberts through a friend and I thought I would check him out. I felt really comfortable letting Dr. Roberts do this procedure and the results were amazing! Dr. Roberts performed SLIMLIPO on my "muffin top" and now there is no "muffin top"!!!! I wear pants and nothing hangs over. I would reffer and trust Dr. Roberts with any of my friend and family!!!!

Dec 3rd, 2010

I had the DOT facial resurfacing procedure. I'll admit that I wasn't too familiar with it at first. I had heard of Fraxel, but not the DOT procedure. What I read on the Internet was mostly positive and it promised less downtime than the Fraxel, so I made an appointment. I have lots of age spots, brown spots and some redness. I have been a sun worshipper, so lots of sun damage. I was just looking really to remove the brown spots, but thought anything would be a benefit. Anyway, I met the patient coordinator & doctor & they seemed very knowledgeable about this procedure and Fraxel (which I was considering). Apparently Dr Roberts has done a lot of Fraxel Repair procedures too. So I decided to have the procedure. I did not feel any significant pain in the procedure, although they told me I might feel some pain at times. The procedure lasted about an hour. I fell asleep during part of the procedure. I think I was there about 2 - 3 hours. The next couple of days I was swollen & red, like I had a bad sunburn. After a few days, the skin flaked off & left me with soft skin and almost all the brown spots were gone, even a big one I had on my lower cheek, was almost entirely gone. What really impressed me is how many people in a week have asked me if I did something to my hair because I looked so good. They didn't realize it was my face until I told them & then all were amazed. I have been told repeatedly that I look 10 years younger. I even got a younger looking haircut to go with my younger looking face. I am soooo happy. I went out without makeup the other day. Never ever could do that before. I highly recommend Dr Roberts and his staff.
