Dr. Gregory Alan Delaurier, MD

Dr Delaurier was the after-hours on-call doctor. After my mother had an appendectomy by the hands of another doctor, she developed a fever on a Sunday evening 4 days after her surgery. We were put in contact with Dr Delaurier and explained that she was running a fever exceeding the post op threshold of 100.4 with increased pain and nausea. He said that was normal and if we were still concerned to call the office back in the morning. After suffering through the night with vomiting and pain, my poor mother moaning anguish, the office nurse said she needed to return to the hospital. She was brought in via ambulance. Turns out an abscess and infection had developed. She spent the next 3 days in the hospital on IV antibiotics and an abscess drain had to be placed. My mom suffered for an extra 14 hours due to his neglect. In the ER, the one nurse was shocked that the Dr Delaurier didn't have her come in the night before. She stated that a post-op fever should always be investigated. We put… our trust in the doctors! Doctors know best. This doctor did not!

Dr. D. always explained what the percentage of cure of my last problem would be. Staff was always friendly and courteous.

Very good surgeon. Very thorough. Not in a rush to push you thru the system.

I totally trust him

The entire staff was efficient and friendly. Dr DeLaurier was very professional and kind with regards to an issue causing me a great deal of stress and discomfort. He explained the procedure very well and took care of my issue very quickly. I pray I never have this type if problem again but if I do I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Delaurier was very personable and easy to talk to. He explained everything in terms that I understood and was very prompt in his diagnosis. I went in on a Friday and he scheduled surgery for the following Wednesday. I was very pleased with his professionalism and sense of urgency. He did an excellent job with very minor scarring. I highly recommend him.

A couple years ago I was bleeding internally from a lower stomach ulcer. Dr. Delaurier started the surgery around 8PM and I don't know what time he finished. I would be 6 feet under if his willingness to help and knowledge that night had not been available. I am still alive today thanks to this man.

he was not considerate and informative of procedure he was to perform, did no pre-op imaging before surgery, although i had pre-radiation before surgery. he cut the left ureter twice during my surgery(colorectal surgery) which went unidentified for 3 weeks! now i have a nephrostomy tube for 4 years. my personal opinion is he is not a good surgeon! i can't even tell you the pain i have endured because of his mistake!

I would like to say the dr. and staff was very friendly. i got in and out. he got rt on top of the problem i was having and fixed it. i would recondmend his service to my friends and family.
