 |  billing  |  show details
by veteran on Jun 24th, 2013

I am going to file with JCAHO and the Federal government concerning the practices of this doctor. He keeps wrongfully submitting bills to me for payment which HE knows have been declared paid in full. What he did was submit a very small bill for less than $6 total and it was paid promptly. Now he has sent another bill a month later pretending the $7.50 bill is 31-60 days old. This was for the same medical services on one specific date back in the last week of January 2013. What has happened is that HE is unhappy with what the insurance company and what the Feds paid him in full so he and Virtual Radiologic Professionals (VRAD) LLC cleverly wrongly send me these bills monthly when they are well aware this is wrong. Both this doctor and VRAD appear to thumb their noses at proper billing procedures. I have a letter that states from the Feds that this guy was paid in full and that I should not be getting any billings from anyone. Everyone should note the place to file is not the BBB concerning unethical medical service practices. A filing to the JCAHO or the State Attorney General is much more effective because they have the power to do something when medical field persons are unethical.
