Mean and unprofessional!

No compassion for children, rough with kids, no bedside manners, insensitive, impatient with children, exams are superficial and rushed, overall time spent is minute, rude & condescending to me, only allows one parent in (refused my spouse to enter on 1st visit & nanny on 2nd visit)! Probably doesn't want a witness to her lack of professionalism). Our daughter Lisa has Severe Autism, Hyperactivity, & Mental Delay functioning like a toddler. SHE DID NOT WANT TO GET NEAR LISA & had NO PATIENCE or TOLERANCE FOR HER BEHAVIORS! Her body language and facial expressions were with disgust and repulsion...like if our daughter had Leprosy!! It was apparent she segregated Lisa, Lisa knew and pulled her hair. Dr. was angry and told Lisa she needed "discipline & structure". She was quick and rough (non-gentle) with her exam. She's a Pediatrician and knew Lisa is Autistic & Delayed. I am horrified, offended, and hurt as its one matter for society to stereotypes Special Needs Children but, a… Pediatrician is unacceptable. I'm offended her policy was not allowing others in, as I explained her Hyperactive w/ Autism & behavioral problems making it very hard for me to concentrate on the visit when I'm worried about her behaviors & constantly chasing her. ABSOLUTELY NO COMPASSION FROM THE DR. or STAFF!! Majority of Lisa's pediatricians have been excellent except her, so PLEASE TAKE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS SERIOUSLY. The patients that are satisfied most likely have simple kids w/o serious or complex diagnosis or her staff is booking too many patients for the Dr. She was behind, appeared stressed, and all her rooms were filled but, it doesn't excuse inappropriate behavior, especially with children and especially children on the spectrum!!

Let me first start off by saying that I am very picky, with picking my family's and my Physician's. I feel deep within my heart that she is truly in it for the love and care of her patients. I feel that anyone having to changed their little ones with Dr. Ramkumar, they will be in good hands. If there is any problems you don't think is right please ask her she will always be happy to give make sure you are leaving with all your questions answered.

Never met a doctor as rude as her.

Dr Ramkumar is a great doctor - very caring and attentive. She really cares about her patients and has followed up with us off-hours just because she is concerned how the kids are feeling and responding to the medications. Have been seeing her since 2007 and have recommended several friends and they all love her. I am a very overprotective mom and always have a ton of questions. Dr is very patient in answering and explaining. Best of all, my kids love her and listen to her! Lucky to have found her.

I brought both of my daughters to Dr Ramkumar years ago. She spent very little time with them and was very rough. My youngest caught Roseola and she wouldn't even take the time to explain to me what it was or even the name! I had to figure it out. She just kept saying, "It will pass" and rushed out of the room. Another thing that used to upset me was the fact that she was so nosey. I was a young, single, mother with my first daughter and she would always ask who and where the father was, if I was working or on WELFARE (which I was NOT!) and if I was in school. I felt extremely judged by her. This happened at almost every appt. The final straw was when I took my girls to get their ears pierced by her. I thought it would be a great idea since she is a doctor and all. Worst experience of my life! My oldest was 7 at the time and she was very scared to get her ears pierced. Instead of the Dr. comforting her she began yelling at her and said, "Stop acting like a baby!" pinned her down and… pierced her ears!! They came out crooked to top it all off! I was livid!! I never went back. FYI when I requested my children's medical records they charged me $25 each! Rip off, they should've been sent to the new Dr for free.

We have been seeing Dr. Ramkumar for years and have always been happy with her. She is very professional and her staff is very helpful. We would highly recommend her to anyone.

I LOVE DR. RAMKUMAR. MY WHOLE FAMILY HAS BEEN COMING TO HER FOR OVER 30 YEARS. ALL THESE POSTS ABOUT HER NOT BEING A GOOD DR. OR ONLY SPENDING A FEW MINUTES WITH THEM HAS OBVIOUS PROBLEMS.

The office is very clean, and organized. Im very happy, everytime I call to schedual an appointment im put in same day, never was I able to do that at any other Dr's office ive been to in the past. The office staff is very helpful, kind and professional. I know I can call if I have a question ill get an answer same day or get a call from Dr. Ramkumar herself...... D. Ramkumar is the best pediatrician I have ever been to. She answers all questions I have, spends all the time I need, I appreciate her spending the time to answer all my questions, even if i have to wait a lil longer I know its well worth it.

We switched to her when we moved to la habra. We found her very impatient during all of our visits. She did very basic observations, spend less than 5 minutes with all 3 of my children. I tried to ask her several questions and relate to her my concerns and they were dismissed and not answered. She is very rough with my newborn. She pulled the bandage of my 5 DAY old son so fast that she made him cry. Also with his first visit, she opened his eyes so quickly that the side of his eyes started bleeding. As for the front desk, they are very rude and condescending to me when I was trying to make an appointment and give her my children's symptoms. We will no longer give them our business and moving them to a new doctor starting today. If you want a patient, caring, and approachable doctor, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO.
