He repaired my severe hiatal hernia and other gastrointestinal issues. He is an amazing, caring and very knowledgeable physician. I've had several surgeries in my life. He is by far my most favorite physician/ surgeon. I would highly recommend him.

As a RN with over 39 years experience as a Director of Case Management as a patient none of this matters Dr. Opie was direct assertive humble and an expert in his field. He is great and professional. Olathe Medical Center while not perfect one of the best hospitals in the USA and I am loving proof having worked all over the country before during and after covid. Please don't ruin the physicians or hospital KUMC now that you have taken over. Keep the small home town yet professional with excellent outcomes moving forward. He is a 5 star and we all know it.

Great Doctor Great Surgeon. Was highly impressed with being informed before…during & after the procedure. Dr Opie was very professional and wonderful bedside manner. I’ve never had an experience with a surgeon before but I will ABSOLUTELY use Dr Opie for any future needed procedures

Dr. Opie recently performed my adenoidectomy surgery. He explained to me professionally, drawing pictures as he went, and reassured me with kindness and confidence as I worried about the surgery. The surgery was successful and I am free from the pain of gallstones and back to normal. I would like to thank him and all the staff.

Dr Opie is a great doctor. He has been my doctor since I had weight loss surgery in 2018 and he's done other procedures. He's kind and caring, listening to everything I need to talk about, explaining all that I may not understand.

Dr. Opie is very kind and takes the time to explain things thoroughly. He has a way of putting you at ease. I have had multiple encounters with him as my doctor or as a fill in for my doctor and it has always been a good experience. He is very conscientious about his work.
