Dr. Harry Tony Adamo, MD

I had no idea that my doctor was so far away. When I was called to come to the clinic in Oakridge to discuss my blood work, Edwin saw me. He began with "My name is Edwin Weigh, and I'm writing "Difficult Patient" on the front of your file". I don't know this man, and never have seen him before. Needless to say, I was floored. He began telling me that I may be looking for another clinic, that the people at the clinic tell me, I don't tell them what I will or will not do". He went on and on about 'clinic policies', and started pointing out that I refused a colonoscopy at which point I said"When and if I have a problem there, I would talk to my doctor about it" To which he raised his voice and said "He's not here, I am". He then went on to say that "we will have this discussion again", and left the room. He never even brought up my blood test that I was called down there for by one of the girls(I think Jessica) ,on 6/5/08. I left very upset and confused. I was billed $135.00 for Edwin… telling me off. I have never seen him before, he does not know me, and I am so uncertain about my health care. How do I get to see my Doctor? Am I going to be asked to leave? I'm almost 70, and I have some health problems. I can't drive Hwy 58, and felt fortunate after Dr. Herscher left that I could go to the local clinic. Can you please explain why this happened to me? I have never been a problem patient, and would rather never 'have to' go to the doctor. Now I am sooooo uncomfortable having to go there, and my family said that I could never go down there alone, again. I miss my own doctor, whom I feel very safe with. Is he ever coming back to Oakridge? Also, do I have any rights on tests done on me, and about 'clinic policies', what are they? Very sincerely, Sherri Maloney
