Dr. Ventura visited my 82-year old mother in Ochsner Clinic after joining a team of other cardiology and vascular surgeons who had performed embolectomy, heart catheterizations, etc. Dr. Ventura spent time with my mother and our family to talk about diagnosis, prognosis, options, etc. Bedside manner was far more outstanding than the other Ochsner physicians who had not even taken the time to follow up with mom on the outcomes of her serious surgical procedures. Dr. Ventura talks "real" talk, engage in direct eye contact, and he listens to what the patient has to say. Overall, very impressed with his overall skill set and personal compassion.
