Dr. Hiren Bharatbhai Patel, MD

First of all my Dr. referred to his office and made appointment. I tried to change it with no answer, several times. I have to try several times and changed the appointment. The Dr. look like a RN in the hospital, so does his diagnose. The Dr. was not sure what drug to use property, so keep changing medicines. No follow up required since changed the Dr.

I don't have a diagnosis so I rated him poor. I have to rate him good on follow up because he scheduled me timely but I refused to go back. He did not perform an in depth exam. His nurse couldn't read the blood pressure or take my temp with a digital thermometer. When you call his office his NP answers, "Hello", not "Dr. Patel's office." He didn't tell the home health agency I have a port so they sent all the wrong things for antibiotic IV infusion. He told the agency they could wait 11 days to change my huber needle in the port, which is an absolute no-no. Leaving it in longer than 7 days runs the risk of infection. Duh, I already have an infection, that's why I was sent to him. His demeanor did not inspire confidence. I refuse to see him again. Insisted my doctor find me another specialist.
