Bedside manner leaves much to be desired - he is not a good listener and has a problem understanding that patients can't spend all of their time taking care of medical problems rather than working or taking care of family. Diagnostic skills are good and he spends time with the patient and explains things but seems unable to determine the correct amount of explanation needed and explains things multiple times. Better listening skills would help prevent that. Appreciated that he will explain things over the phone. Appointments are hard to get meaning he has way too many patients - this also affects patient care.
