No stars !She’s not concerned about her patients just the money she receives , don’t care about your health or concerns you have or issues you’re having … She’s very rude and unprofessional and disrespectful as stated in another review . She puts her personal opinion before an doctors stand point . and be a doctor and be respectful and have compassion and sympathy Never have I experienced what I have from her from any doctor. Don’t recommend at all . Shouldn’t be working at gyn oncology dealing with people that’s really sick and depressed due to how lack of concern , care , and the amount of rudeness and how she treats people .

Before I meet Dr. Cottrill, i read alot of reviews. People giving negative. But i was given the upmost care and professionalism. I'm overweight, never had children, she was caring and concerned with the possibility of why I had cancer, I also had a high rate of cancer in my family. So I meet all the need to reason to have a complete hysterectomy. I am so glad I was referred to her.. if anyone has doubts, I can assure you she is great.

Dr. Cottrell and her staff are second to none. I'm impressed by the thoroughness and time she spends with you. I highly recommend her. She's the best in her field!

I visited Dr. Cottrill after finding out I had cancer. I had to undergo a hysterectomy which she performed. From the initial visit she was very unsympathetic with me. I am overweight and she let me know that the ONLY reason I developed cancer at 24 was due to being overweight. My weight was the topic of most of our discussions. She was always in and out very quickly and acted annoyed when I would ask questions. I faced cancer but I also lost my fertility at 24, having no children yet even though I wanted them and I didn’t even get a pat on the shoulder or any type of reassurance. She did perform my surgery successfully but she cut my urethra in the process causing me a lot of pain that I’m still experience two weeks postop. I was treated so poorly that I don’t even want to go back for my post on visit. I feel belittled and intimidated by her. Even if my weight was a contributing factor to me developing cancer, it was not the only reason and to basically tell somone that it’s their… fault they will never have a child is cruel.

It is important to research your type of cancer and know the recommendations before surgery. I have clear cell endometrial cancer. Unfortunately I did not do my research early enough. Recommendations for this type of cancer indicate that lymph node removal is necessary. Cancer was found in lymph nodes however only 3 lymph nodes were removed. Cancer is back.

She saved my life. My family and I couldn't be more thankful for her.

Dr. Cottrill is an excellent doctor! She is very compassionate and caring. She takes the time to listen to you, and explain anything to you. She did my hysterectomy, which went very well. I feel 100% better and am back to doing things that I couldn't before the procedure due to feeling so bad. Dr. Cottrill and her staff are the best of the best and I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

I have never had a more knowledgeable, caring, or responsive physician. Her professional staff has always been stellar. This field requires patience and compassion, and I have always been extended the greatest of these in this office.

I thought she was a wonderful doctor and surgeon as well as her office and nursing staff. After my surgery she spoke openly and clearly with my daughters (17 & 19) and fiance about the procedure and the outcome (precancerous). The scathing reviews of two others on this doctor made me cringe. This is not the same professional woman that I have been dealing with. There are two sides to every story. Also, I had asked to have a hystorectomy and she advised against a surgery that is not needed although at my age would have been appropriate. So having needless or senseless procedures and follow-ups I question. All my questions were answered respectfully and carefully.The only complaint I have is the wait in the exam room itself.

I vistited dr. contrill with a precancerous problem, NOT Cancer. She recomended for an extensive Chemo which required a deep line. When an alternative treatment was a simple shot in the buttock. Plus the treatment she recomended could have cost me my fertility, something that is still very valuable to me as a young woman. I truely believe that she recommended and even tried to bully me into her treatment option because it was the more expensive of the two. She was concerned about bank account and not my health. Please know your treatment options and your diagnosis before visiting this doctor. If i had not of done my research and spoken with my doctor before her, I would fully of left her office believing that I was ate up with cancer and going to die if I didn't do exactly as she said.
