Had seen two other area Sentara cardiologists who were unable to vote tly diagnose and treat me. Months wasted on needless physical suffering and mental anxiety. God bless Dr McCormick and staff!

Dr. Mc Cormick is an affable pleasant fellow when he arrives but, I have on more than one occasion waited one hour in the waiting room and nearly an hour in the examining room before he arrives. More importantly he cannot be bothered to respond or have his nurse respond to rare and fully legitimate questions about medications. This behavior is totally unacceptable under any circumstances. Nor is feedback offered regarding expensive diagnostic tests that have been ordered. All resons to find analternative.

The front office women could be more friendly and cordial. I feel (with them) that I'm just another number. The back office staff are great!

Dr. McCormick is a great person, who is direct and to the point. When I wasn't working and still needed my yearly exam unlike my previous family physician (no longer do I see him) Dr. McCormick still saw me and allowed me to make payments, because he knew I still needed medical care follow up. That was a very understanding and caring doctor. He will always have me for a patient. If you having to wait longer then normal to see him he is worth the wait, I don't know any doctors office that can see you in less then 20 minutes, if they can then you need to as why? Quick does not always mean better.

went for a frist time visit today .Was told to be there at 8:30 am .Sat in his exam room for two(2) hours without a word from his staff,when we asked how much longer the wait was,we were told he is always late and was not even in the building.And that they would page him and was told when we asked again he would be a few minutes,well after i/2 hour more we just walked out and left.Not a word from his staff or call.I think this is just yet another so-called doctor who has forgotton who and how he gets a pay check.His staff or him did not even once inform me of his being late or that he even cared that he had a paying customer in his office.I WOULD NOT RECOMmEND HIM OR HIS STAFF TO TO ANYONE.The staff or him had not one ounce of professionalism or respect toward his patient.
