Dr. McElderry changed my life and our family can never repay him (or his wonderful team) for the amazing care we received. He took time with us to explain everything and made sure we had all the information we needed before, during, and after my procedure, which he performed confidently and flawlessly. He helped give me my life back and we will be forever grateful. The man is a wizard...not even kidding.

Dr. McElderry is outstanding! I went to Drs. in my home town only to be told that every thing was normal and to take more medicine. I've lived in misery for almost two years. My wife found Dr. McElderry at UAB Medical Center,we scheduled and appointment to see him. On my first visit he looked at my EKG and saw that afib was happening all the time. He went over everything with me and my wife, gave me the information I had been looking for for over 18 months. Dr. McElderry preformed an ablation on me 10-31-2018 and for the first time in almost two years my heart is beating normally. I can't say thank you enough to him. He and his marvelous staff took care of me like I was their family. I am Forever Grateful and will recommend Dr. McElderry to everyone I know!!!

His nurse does not return phone calls I had a real problem with her he stop my heart during a pacemaker test and I passed out for a few seconds said he was sorry? Freak me out getting another cardiologist

My husband has seen Dr. McElderry in the office and has had two procedures performed by Dr. McElderry. The office staff is very professional and courteous. They introduce themselves, tell you their title and what they are going to do. The wait time in the office has always been within 10 to 15 minutes of the appointment time, except once, and the staff let us know when we arrived that Dr. McElderry would be a little late and we still saw him less than 30 minutes after the appointment time. Dr. McElderry took time to answer all of our questions without appearing to be in a hurry. He even showed diagrams of how the procedure was done on the computer and explained so we could understand. We have been very pleased with the staff in his office and the care he has provided.

He performed new ablation on my husband and he did not make it. I will never forgive him.

Dr. McElderry treated my father with only a one day notice. He was given a pacemaker that his regular cardiologist could not implant. The guy is very nice and personable, not to memntion a top in his field. Highly recommend.
