Doctor Fineman and Jen, and the staff were all wonderful!! I had two different people refer me to Dr. Fineman. That gave me great confidence. Dr. Fineman is wonderful at what he does! He is very knowledgeable, and he is patient and kind. Jen is amazing too! She will explain everything and answer any questions you may have. I felt very cared for, and I am able to stand up straight again. I would highly recommend Dr. Fineman, Jen, and staff to anyone who needs a neurosurgeon. They were fantastic!!

Gail Marlowe, Simi Valley, CA. Unending gratitude to Dr. Finemam and his Nurse Practitioner, Jennifer. After suffering for seven years, from a rare form of Trigeminal Neuralgia, called Tic douloureux, I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Finemam. I had two attempts made by UCLA using Steriotactic Radio surgery or “gamma ray”. Short lived cures! When the Tic returned, with vengeance, I was told that their surgery procedure would perhaps leave me blind, deaf and without control of the right side of my face! Bye-bye UCLA! I immediately called my terrific Spine specialist, Dr. Roy Ashford, and asked him for the name of the best neurosurgeon he knew. He highly recommend Dr. Igor Finemam, stating he would only use Dr. Finemam, himself! Within a week, Dr. Finemam operated. He operated on a Tuesday, and as he promised, I attended my Granddaughter’s wedding on Friday! Unbelievable! No more attacks and pain free, I am “fit as a fiddle “ and… enjoying a full, healthy life’. Three Spin classes a week! Truly, I am so blessed to have found Dr. Finemam and Jen! What a great Doctor! What a great Team! I am eternally grateful??

Dr. Fineman took amazing care of my dad after he herniated a disc in his neck. Dr.Fineman trialed conservative measures first and allowed my dad the opportunity to heal. Unfortunately, he remained weak and eventually my father underwent surgery. After surgery, my dad made a complete recovery in the hands of this great surgeon. You can hardly see his incision as he artfully hid it in a crease in my dad's neck. Thank Dr. Fineman for your kindness, compassion and skill as my dad has made a full recovery.

Elderly Patient Lost Ability to Stand Up on Own, in Severe Back Pain Now, Hard Time Breathing, I do not recommend. Get 2nd opinions. He is not very thorough about his neuromuscular pre-op prep. He might call your spasticity parkinson's and to other doctors that are not your PCP. You will be explained as having severe back pain going into surgery, when you don't have that. Your back can be destroyed so what is the point to doing this surgery if a surgeon is going to approximate your nerves, muscles, tendons, ligaments and vessels. How sloppy and ruinous. This must be exposed. How many others have gone through this that I could have read about and decided to say NO to surgery. You can become paralyzed losing you ability to walk and stand, or wake up with pointy ankles and feet, like I did. I am suffering lots of pain now. My life is ruined. I should never have trusted him and his team with my spine.

Poor follow up care. Post surgical treatment is a vital point in a physician- patient relationship. Dr. Fineman lacks empathy for the patients condition after surgery and should allow himself to COME DOWN and actually visit with the patient to properly address their medical needs, not just put another check on the box that he's seen you.

My first impression of Dr. Fineman was that he is quiet and calm. His Assistant Jennifer is super outgoing and caring. Also, that the office staff loves working with him. Since I was having spine surgery, and everything was explained to me, I decided a calm, quiet neurosurgeon who could focus on the task at hand, was perfect for the job! And he was! Ask questions, participate in understanding the procedure and directions. Rose at the desk and Jennifer are the point persons who will handle your practical concerns, so that Dr. Fineman can concentrate on your surgery. I have every confidence in him.

Dr . Fineman, Jennifer and all his staff was wonderful I had trigeminal neuralgia. He did the surgery. And it went extremely well. I'm so glad my doctor referred me to dr . Fineman. The hospital was also great.a very caring staff . I would like to thank all who were involved in my surgery and recovery.

I AM A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, SO I KNOW THE RISKS INVOLVED IN ANY SURGERY, BUT DR. FINEMAN, AS DID JENN BIRCH, EASED MY TENSION/FEAR AND EXPLAINED THE PROCEDURE SO I LEFT VERY COMFORTABLE IN DECIDING TO HAVE THE SURGERY. I underwent bilateral deep brain stimulator placement with Dr. Fineman and his staff. Dr. Fineman is extremely professional and is a skilled surgeon and has put together a team caring individuals who made this procedure so easy. My symptoms of Parkinson's disease are completely gone.
