Dr Johnson is a nice doctor but I will not be seeing him again because of the very expensive procedure he recommended for my diagnosis. It cost almost $4000 (facility fee + anesthologist dr fee who actually does the injection) for an epidural steroid injection and that is outrageously expensive!! I had to pay over $2000 out of pocket even with insurance. Also, his office seem to be overly concerned with getting money over patient care. I had to pay a copay even before seeing the doctor at my appt. When I wanted to make an appointment, I was transferred to the business manager to be screened. (My balance was paid in full and I did not owe them money). I was satisfied with Dr Johnson as a doctor but his office really need to be more reasonable with how much they charge. I called around and found out Marshfield charges half for the same procedure! Give quality, affordable care rathet than squeeze them for $$$$ and you will retain patients.
