Dr. James Gerard Corasanti, MD

Unfortunately I have never met the Dr. Every time I go there I see someone different and they never have anything to say. I list off my symptoms and on occasion I have mentioned running different tests and all they say is "we don't do that test here." I finally got someone who suggested going to Rochester for testing. It took them over a month to sent the proper paperwork to Rochester only for them to refuse it (don't know why). I had a problem with them sending paperwork somewhere else as well. I am not happy with them and would not recommend that office.

Dr. Corasanti is an exceptional physician: so knowledgeable, thorough, and has a wonderful bedside manner. He takes time with each of his patients and is genuinely concerned for their care and well being. I recommend him highly.

Knowledgeable and caring. Goes the extra mile and get to the root of issues. Would go to no other.

I liked the Hamburg office and the PA that goes there but the doctor and the rest of the staff were horrible to deal with. Did not care one iota.

He is an EXCELLENT Doctor he has always done right by me and has been the only GI doc that has been able to treat my complex case! His office staff are HORRIBLE. I will die waiting for a response from his staff and I will die on hold. He needs staff that do there job and do there job well...not just people filling seats collecting pay checks!

I can't recommend Dr. Corasanti because I COULDN'T FIND HIS OFFICE. The address is: 5225 Sheridan Drive. Good luck once you get there because there are numerous offices, shops, and even a bakery located at 5225 Sheridan. When I called the office for help, I was caller #8 and put on hold. I hung up and tried their automated message for directions. The message said they're located at: 5225 Sheridan Drive - NOT HELPFUL! When I called back to complain I was on hold for 22 minutes before I could talk to a person. I guess they really don't want patients to find them.

Dr. Corasanti has been my gastroenterologist for over 20 years. For years, while treating my IBS and erosive gastritis, he kept asking me if I was anxious; to which I always responded: "No". He finally begged me to try an anti-anxiety medication, for just one month; within that month my IBS ceased and my erosive gastritis began healing. I was examined by a psychologist and was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, a genetic familial trait. I will be forever grateful for Dr. Corasanti's holistic approach to medicine. He is highly educated and is a clinical associate professor at UB's school of medicine: He possesses a doctorate in medicine and a doctorate in biochemistry.

He misdiagnosed me with IBS. I went to a different gi dr to get the test I requested which he claimed is unnecessary and sure enough it came back abnormal. I would love to show him I was right but it’s not worth it.

Dr Corasanti is an excellent physician, a caring doctor, with a genuine bed side manner.
