I switched doctors because Dr. McFarren didn't seem to care that much and certainly wasn't up to date on treatment and care. I got the impression he wanted to take the easy way and didn't want to work too hard.

DR McFarren has been our family pediatrician for years my children and now grandchildren are patients of his. His nurse gets authorizations for specialty care promptly (and we have had many with a handicapped child). You will not find a better doc for children ANYWHERE.

His nurse had greasy hair, dirty fingernails, and her clothes were wrinkled and faded. Really turned me off. He was good with our two kids, but when confronted with a chronic issue with our four year old, he refused to acknowledge our prior doctor's care plan, and we ended up having a serious medical issue. We no longer go to this doctor and cannot recommend him at all. He came highly recommended, but we were highly disgusted.
