Worst doctor I’ve ever met! He misdiagnosed me, he wouldn’t let me speak and said VERY rude things to me. No one deserves to be treated like that.

It took me over 6 months to get an in to see the doctor. Apparently there is a shortage of neurologists in Tulsa. saw the doctor on a Wednesday, the nurse said give me to 5:00 to have your prescriptions called into your pharmacy. 3 days later, it still hasn't been done. I've called the office 3 times, and they say they are sending a note to the doctor. But I don't think that's actually happening. Went on Mychart and left 2 messages, nothing back and still no prescriptions. What kind of office is this anyway?

Dr Dean seems like a decent doctor but his follow up & office staff are horrible. I was referred to him after a seizure. He ordered an EEG which I had & I never heard back. My PCC finally contacted him about a follow up appointment. I was told there was a 3 month wait. Nurse called back & got me worked in but I waited 1 1/2 hours in the waiting room. I called after that to talk to the nurse about some side effects that I thought were caused by my RX. She said the Dr wanted me to double the dose. That seemed strange to me & I had an appointment coming up so I just waited & talked to him. Him said he wasn’t sure why she would say that & cut my RX in half. Also waited over an hour for that appointment. I’ve tried to find another Neurologist but there seems to be a shortage in Tulsa so I’ll just deal with him.

An excellent, caring doctor who knows how to zero in on my problems. Is very skilled in diagnosing and knew where I needed to be referred for Urgent surgery on my neck.

I did not choose this dr, i was referred. My husband and I waited over an hour in a tiny room, and when he finally came in, NO apologies for our wait. Then he scheduled a brain scan, which i did and i NEVER heard from him again.

Spoke w/ SFH nursing staff while an inpatient. All said this Dr works harder than ANY and is ALWAYS patient 1st in his priorities. Never gives up on pt’s. Throwback physician who sits, listens even after midnight— which was often. Found out his experience exceeds 99% of all other U.S. neurologist(I looked it up on Healthgrades, Inc. data). He even looked up and e-mailed me information on stuff I needed to rehabilitate and care for myself after discharge. I am truly thankful.

He told my my episodes of Perseveration on the phonemic level With persevered auditory comprehension were just stress and that when my lips turned blue in an episode that I was just dehydrated

Dr seems genuine but long waits for appointment and tired of waiting in exam room. Walked out of office with out seeing him. Nursing staff weren't very pleasant to deal with.
