This man is not a DR. He is very rude and not caring, 1st appt. with him in his Clawson office was ok, sent my husband to have an MRI and Stress test at the age of 35... When we went for our follow up appt. they did not even have the results after 3 weeks, Zelch then came is in the room after us waiting 2 hours to see him and was very aggravated that we didn't go to Beaumont for this testing.... Then continued to be rude so we got up and walked out! We asked for our co pay back and he refused to give it...... then his office billed our insurance for a visit we didn't receive!!!! His office is DIRTY, his staff doesn't know what they are doing and HES IN IT JUST FOR THE MONEY!!!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM......

I was looking for a new doctor, someone that was closer to home, and was referred to Ace Medical Center. I setup an appt and the phone staff was very helpful. I came in for my initial visit and met Dr. Zelch and he seemed very nice and concerned. They did a full blood workup and everything seemed fine. I explained my situation to Dr. Zelch and was told to make a follow up visit for my medication and results from my blood work and I did just that. This is where everything went down hill. I brought in my current prescriptions, on my original visit, and assumed that they would just be transferred but that was not the case. I seen that Dr. Zelch was in the office at the time of my visit but all of a sudden I was dealing with an assistant that had no clue what I had talked about with Dr. Zelch. She was trying to send me in the complete opposite direction of my original plan that me and Dr. Zelch had talked about. After meeting with the assistant I'm now scrambling to get an appt with my original doctor and trying to figure out what happened. When it comes to changing your primary care Dr. its no easy thing to do. I had such high hopes that this was going to be my new doctor but unfortunately that doesn't look to be the case. If Dr. Zelch does happen to read this please take a look at what happened with me and my situation. My appt was 2/3/15 1:15 I would like to resolve this so please give me a call. Thanks

Finally a doctor who gets straight to the point of my problems, and not just sugar coat stuff!! very happy i stuck out the wait, the staff was great and the dr was worth it! Pleasantly surprised at how well the staff was able to laugh off such rude patients and keep a positive attitude. After conversing with other patients in the waiting room, i reliazed that although the wait is a issue sometimes that they keep coming back because of the actual CARE they recieve and the whole family-vibe this office has.

I have been coming here since Feb 2013 and yes sometimes i have to wait to see the doctor, but he is definetly worth the wait. He is willing to see patients who walk in, and who come late which shows he cares. The staff is friendly, especially Sarah. They are kind to me, my children and to the other patients in the office even after many verbally abusive patients that come in daily askin for pain medicines.

What kind of Dr. Schedules appointments and doesn't show up. It's even worse when he shows up but say they are not open. I was told to come back and the office was closed again two days later. The staff is just plain inconsiderate. If you can't keep a primary care schedule, how can you keep patients health a priority? Patients rely on medications. Quack doesn't start to describe this place. Oh, and be prepared to wait over an hour at least.

I would not even call this person a doctor, he does not care about his patients only in it for the money

Unprofessional staff.. not to mention high turn over rate! Dirty office too. I have to wait for almost an hour just to see the doctor everytime. Seems like he could care less. I'm taking my money elsewhere.

Dr. Zelch is very thorough and personable. His staff on the other hand could use a couple more refresher classes on customer/patient relations. He is definitely worth the long wait if you can endure the ignorance of front office staff. He truly runs the place by himself.

Missed his Appointment - Wasn't At Office show details Missed his Appointment - Wasn't At Office
Jun 19th, 2012

We set up an appointment through Ace Medical Center. Their Office Manager Lori S. was not courteous. She set up the appointment for Dr. Zelch in a Clawson office, even though she is located in Centerline. She assured me that her office is the only office to make appointments for Clawson. The doctor did not show. After waiting 40 minutes, our potential employee was told to leave their office and call (the same number that gave us a bad appointment time) to reschedule at another time. Not happy at all.

Never in my life have I had to wait 2-4 hours to see a doctor and be told that payment for possible services would have to be paid upfront. Then receive billing for services that weren't administered or discussed by anyone there. When you did see the doctor
