There is not enough that I can say about Dr. Efstathiou and the treatment I received while under his care. He was (is) respectful and kind and he also takes his time with me. He explained all of my treatment options in great detail. He explained potential side effects in great detail. When I decided to be treated at MGH I expected to be treated by a world class physician and that is exactly what Dr. Efstathiou is! Full of class and grace and compassion and my family and I will be forever grateful to him!

Dr. Efstathiou lives up to his world class reputation! From the initial consultation visit, during my treatment and now during follow up appointments I have received the quality of care a patient can only pray for. Dr. E is pleasant and smart and also very honest about treatment options, side effects and outcome. He has treated me with respect and kindness and has shown true care for my wellbeing. He has always been reachable to answers questions and concerns and has done so with true compassion. I am forever grateful to him for the care he continues to provide to me and am thankful that he is the physician I turned my treatment and health over to. I am very lucky to have him "on my side"

Kept me waiting for an hour, then spent 5 minutes with me and sent me a huge bill. Don't recommend.

Dr. Efstathiou is a good doctor, but I got the pleasure of speaking with someone in MGH after my husband's consult a while back. He is a horribly mean person. He treats his entire staff horribly and cares about nobody except himself and getting published from what I heard. He has apparently told CHILDRENS cancer doctors that his patients are more important. He blames everything on someone else, and never takes responsibility for himself apparently. We luckily decided to go to another treatment center, and not give this man the satisfaction. Treat others as you would like to be treated, sir.
