Husband goes in complaining of testicular pain. Doesn't do any kind of exam. Gets a CT, nothing. Does an ultrasound and says infection. Antibiotics. NEVER did any kind of examination. It is as if hospitals do as many tests as possible just so they can charge the patient as much as they can. Last time I went I took my toddler who had 106 fever. Was given tylenol, and that's it. Charged $1100 after insurance. Ended up being strep throat which was not even tested for. Done with Memorial ER department, and the American Healthcare system, in general.

I did not appreciate Dr Vaughan speaking I’ll of the Chiropractic field during my recent visit to ER. I also did NOT appreciate his prescribing major pain pills without discovering root cause of problem. It’s no wonder we have an opioid problem here! Will drive an hour away for services if I have to! Truly a disservice to our community!

He was very unprofessional and prideful in caring for my mom in the ER. Being a nurse myself, I know the impact professionalism and kindness has on patients and families. I’m very displeased with the way he handled himself and just gave my mom pain meds and sent her home without digging deeper to find the root cause. She shouldn’t have to drive an hour to go to a hospital that will actualAly run tests and draw blood, but she did and they took care of her. We won’t be going back.

Dr Vaughan is not only great with his patients, he's also very skilled and intelligent. You couldn't ask for a better doctor in an emergent situation!
