I was very pleased with Dr. Johnson and his ability to correct my hip revision surgery that had previously been done unsatisfactorily by my local surgeon. My hip dislocated three times and while visiting. Minneapolis on Easter Sunday it happened again. We were quickly connected to Dr. Jay Johnson next day. He spent over 45 minutes in exam room and quickly diagnosed and explained what the problem was and how he proposed to fix.Extremely competent and kind. Would highly recommend him!

Had a total knee replacement and despite a set back Dr. Johnson got me walking and feeling wonderful again. Great bedside manner and a lot of knowledge of the how and why of bad knees ( his care giver Karen is also wonderful and answered a lot of my questions)

Took the time I needed. Clear about what he can do best and refers to others for things they do best. He called me after getting test results and spent 15 minutes talking at 5:30pm about what to do. Saved me going in for another appointment.

Dr. Johnson did not spend very much time with me, but in that short time, he told me I needed a knee replacement, but wouldn’t do one because I was too young, gave me no alternative treatment other than physical therapy (which is a joke), and fat shamed me. Very poor bedside manner all within a matter of 7 minutes!

Dr. Johnson has treated many of many family members and friends with great success He recently preformed a total knee for me. He treated me conservatively for almost 2 years before the actual surgery. According to the literature published by his clinic I'm way ahead of schedule and very happy with the outcome. Jim Phillips

Dr Johnson isn't a very good Dr to see if you want him to spend any amount of time with you. He spent MAYBE three minutes in my room and I ended back a week later for X-rays and now have two bills to pay when I could have had one. Would never see him again and will NEVER go back to twin cities orthepedics either

I would never return to Dr. Johnson. Horrible bedside manner and in a big hurry to get out of the room and collect his bill.. Horrible! One star is being generous
