Dr. Jaywant Philip Parmar, MD

Even though I had to wait 90 minutes past my appointment time, I was pleased with my visit to Dr Parmar and the Radiology Department of Sierra Vista Hospital yesterday. I suffer from an extremely painful arthritic right hip, can barely hobble because of it, and was sent to Dr Parmar by my primary care physician for a cortisone injection. Dr Parmar explained the procedure very professionally, and performed the injection perfectly under fluoroscope. The nurses were excellent and helpful, and I did not feel anything but very minor pain at the beginning of the procedure. I found the experience very satisfactory, and early the next morning, I am able to say I have improved considerably, can at least walk slowly, and with much less pain. I hope for continued improvement, of course, but so far, I am extreme;y satisfied with Dr Parmar's treatment. A wait time of 90 minutes, however, is less than satisfactory, and needs to be addressed.
