Thank you Dr Hart... Ever since I moved here ...you have been a blessing in disguise and thank you for everything you have done for me! I definitely recommend Dr Hart to anyone not only for the Psychiatry aspect of his profession... but also make sure you set some appointments to spend time talking with him because he's also a great psychologist! Thank you Dr. Hart for all your hard work and time spent to help me be a better person and live a happy healthy life! For anyone out there... Dr Hart is number 1 in my book !!!
Dr. Hart was thorough in explanation and the medication changes he made have helped more than I could have anticipated!
Dr Hart is the best psychiatrist I have seen, he truly cares and the bottom line is your depression or whatever diagnosis you have will improve!
I read some horrible reviews and was hesitant. Have to say, I love having him as our Dr. He explains what is going on and what we are trying to do. Great record keeping and I am in and out in 20 minutes from the time I get there to seeing him. Never a wait!
Diagnosed me with very little conversation and a lengthy questionnaire that wouldn't allow for explaining circumstances. Placed me on medication that I now regret ever taking as it is extremely difficult to withdraw from and should have researched carefully instead of being foolish to just trust the Doctor.
Let's just say that I had been going to Dr. Hart for ten years, when I checked myself into the hospital so I wouldn't commit suicide. The hospital finally got my meds right, and correctly diagnosed me. One employee there also said "Your psychiatrist is Dr. Hart? No wonder you're suicidal!" Everyone who said he's in it for the money is absolutely right. If you lose a prescription, it costs around $20 for him to take minute to rewrite it. Even if it's during your appointment, so that it's not costing him any time! When I needed a note for an absence from work, he charged $15, even though he wrote it on MY time. I never once, in 14 years going there, felt like he would care if I jumped in front of a train. I get professional detachment, I have to have it in my job as well. He just really doesn't care, as long as you pay your bill. I only kept going to him, because I didn't want to start over with someone else I might not like. Of COURSE there's no wait time at his office! Do you think he'd give a patient an extra second?
Dr. Hart is a no nonsense doc who has helped me for years. He doesn't require long visits unless you request them. The wait in his office is never very long.
Very straightforward, no nonsense.
I thank God for Dr. Hart. I had suffered with depression for years, and taken SSRIs for many years. Two years ago, I began having anxiety. It gradually worsened to the point that I was barely able to function. My insurance recommended Dr. Hart, and I was able to get an appointment very soon. He diagnosed me as Bipolar 2 and put me on the proper medication. I had to increase the dosage very slowly, as there could be serious side effects if increased too rapidly. It took several months to get my medication levels figured out. I have been stable for more than a year, and am finally becoming an active, whole human being. Dr. Hart has my undying gratitude for his help. His demeanor is very professional, but I could feel his concern. The office staff have been courteous and professional. I would recommend Dr. Hart to other people in similar circumstances as I was.
Great Doctor, nailed the diagnosis, haven't felt this good in years!
Dr hart is professional and diagnosed me after one visit. Its been a great experience.
Very effective diagnosis, knowledgeable re medication, clear communication
Dr. Hart is a skilled diagnostician and clinician. There is hardly any wait time in his office and he is willing to use the latest treatments. Most importantly, he listens to, and respects, the wishes of his patients.
Dr. Hart is a super guy. Even keel and no drama. Visits are quick and efficient.
have been treated by Dr Hart for 14 years and he has NEVER failed me! With his care, I lead a full and balanced life.
I was hesitant at first when I was referred to Dr Hart, especially since I had not once in my life been to a Psychiatrist and second, because some of the reviews I read about him seemed like he was rude or uncaring. But once I visited Dr hart I realized that he is someone that just wants to get to the point, and he doesn't want to waste your time with small talk. He has years of experience, and with that experience he is able to quickly identify symptoms and offer you options for treatment. I have been a patient of Dr Harts for almost two years now, and after diagnosing me with ADHD, and going through a few months of adjustments with medications and Dr Hart's advice, this condition that had affected my work and relationships for years has drastically improved, and I'm even enjoying a renewed relationship with my spouse, family and even work. Bottom line, if you are looking for someone to hold your hand and nod their head sympathetically then maybe DR Hart is not for you. But if you want a Doctor that will quickly dive in to tackle your problem, then Dr Hart's your man!
I was diagnosed from my MD with Severe Depression and was assigned to DR.Hart. Dr. Hart seems to think I have Bipolar 2... not the case... I may have bipolar but the very minimum. He has no intentions of tackling my Severe Depression. He does not believe I have Severe Depression..I BED TO DIFFER. He is a mono robot as personality is concerned. He does not really listen to you when you tell him everthing thats going on. He thinks i'm doing great which is VERY false. I can tell he is ready to give up on me. Their policys are VERY greedy and I can tell they are in it just for the money and they FORCE appointments on you when you finish a session even though you could be out of country etc. I was late due to an emergency that was completely out of my control and had to borderline cancel but they forced the FULL uncovered cost of the appointment ( around 200$ ) and even the person next to me heard me argue with them and they said find somebody else. They REQUIRE that you cancel within 48 hours, no exceptions. I had to speed in my car to get there to avoid the penalty fee. I had bad feelings about this guy after the 2nd visit but I had nobody else to go too. Ill be scheduling an appointment with my MD doctor for new recommendation.
This place is a total joke. They over medicate and I'm not even sure I was diagnosed correctly to be honest. And the way they make their money is by stating you broke an appointment and will charge you 115 dollars. First off they don't ask permission to make your next appointment they just do it. And then they don't even call to remind you of this made up appointment . Then when you get a notice in the mail and try to figure it all out it takes weeks for them to call you back. And then they are completely rude. Pathetic way to make money. If dr. Hart and his staff were actually good and the what they do they wouldn't need to scam to make money. Dr. Hart is worth maybe 5 dollars not 115. I would never recommend this place!!!!!! You pay way yo much for a visit and he only talks to you for 5 mins and he's weird with no personality. Doesn't care about you have to say he just writes a ridiculously high dose of some random medication you most likely don't need because he gets paid by the state or whatever. Dude is a quack. And his staff is a bunch of brainless people. So rude. So unprofessional. Especially the 300 pound brunette.
I would never recommend Dr. Hart. He misdiagnosed me with manic depression at age 19, and then told my parents I would never recover, never lead a normal life, be able to hold down a job, have children, etc. I've been off medications for years, finished my college degree, got married and am pregnant with my first child at 36. I was told by another psychiatrist I saw after Dr. Hart that I had been misdiagnosed. Additionally, Dr. Hart's office policies were horrible (maybe they have changed): They never called insurance to ask for more visits, so I ended up with thousands of dollars in debt to his office, which could have been covered by insurance if he would have asked for an extension. Then, because I couldn't pay that hefty balance, I was told I couldn't come in for my scheduled visit... but that I would be charged for canceling it! Gah! What?? I wrote him a letter stating that I felt his practices were sketchy, and found a new doctor. I put one star only because it requires something. In reality, I would give this practice zero stars.
I was Dr. Hart's patient for 10 yrs. Diagnosed by him with a very serious mental condition and put on meds for a period of ten yrs. When no symptoms of the condition were present after the ten yrs. I on my own discontinued the medication. No symptoms to this day some 16 years later! However, I am left with a permanent tremor, Heartbreaking to me as it is totally unnecessary!!
Cold, uncaring, office staff nice but he is more worried about how things will reflect on him than about how his patients are doing.
My husband showed up for his first appt. 2 hours early because he was told that that was his appt. time when they called to confirm it. Due to work conflicts he could not come back at his actual scheduled time and they would NOT allow him to reschedule to another day without paying a $200.00 cancelation fee (even though he didn't cancel, he made an attempt to come). This shows that Dr. Hart and his staff only care about the money and not about patient care!! They made him pay the $200.00 before he left. He will NOT be back and we will NEVER recommend this office to anyone! Way to leave a great first impression.
I'd nearly given up finding a doctor who could accurately diagnose my condition and treat it when I found Dr. Jeff Hart. After a single visit, he issued a diagnosis I'd never been given before and since then, my life has dramatically turned around. With the correct meds and Dr. Harts counseling, I've finally achieved the piece of mind that eluded me for decades. The right doctor makes ALL the difference!
