LARSEN, PhD, CCC-A is a BOARD CERTIFIED AUDIOLOGISTDr. Jeff Larsen is an audiologist and researcher who received a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and a master’s degree in Audiology, also from Utah State. He received his PhD in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Dr. Larsen has held full-time faculty positions at Eastern Illinois University and Utah State University and also has held adjunct positions at Illinois State University, the University of Utah, and the University of Pretoria in South Africa. The focus of his research during his academic career has been classroom acoustics, speech perception, and signal processing in hearing aids. He has also been involved with research concerning balance and concussions, he jointly owns a patent for intra-body communication for hearing aid processing, and has provided clinical audiology services in hospitals, private practice, and university clinics.
