Dr. Jefferey Douglas Adair, MD

After reviewing my MRI and advising me of my surgical options, my orthopedist referred me to Dr. Adair for pain management for epidurals to help me in the interim. That was 3.5 months ago. Note: I’ve never been to a pain mg. MD before nor have I ever asked any MD to rx narcotics for me. My neck was severely injured some time back, but other parts of me were injured at the same time. I’ve tried to navigate the medical system best I knew how, but my symptoms were not addressed early on, but eventually I got to proper MRI assessments. Through all of this, I’ve endured immense pain that literally controls my daily existence. I finally got definitive medical cause for my pain. That was helpful to have answers. In good faith, the surgeon referred me to Dr. Adair. I provided everything asked of me to each office to facilitate the new patient enrollment. The support staff at both offices, the orthopedic clinic and the pain management clinic, were pleasant. Likewise, I was… pleasant, thankful, and patient. Today I called to check in with Dr. Adair’s Office for update on my status on a new patient “waiting list,” and I was shocked to learn that I was “rejected.” No reason was given. No letter was sent to me. No phone calls to me. The person I spoke to was nice, but the only thing she could tell me was that Dr. Adair rejected me on Nov. 28, 2018. Today is Feb. 13, 2019. So all this time I’ve been waiting in good faith to be treated by this physician and all the while, he had no intentions to treat me. If I had known, I could have at least sought the care I need elsewhere, but instead, I’ve been suffering. To add insult to injury, no pun intended, I’ve been “rejected,” something I didn’t even know existed, not sure it’s ethical, and I have no idea why and further, my ability to get care elsewhere has been thwarted as I am forced to start over? I’m at a lost. I’m just a nice person. If this can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. Where is the humanity in this? A doctor is supposed to be someone that cares.

Dr Adair and his staff are amazing. He listens to you and is concerned in helping relieve pain. So glad I found this doctor.

I recently tried to make an appt. to see this doctor. Being in pain they couldn’t get me in for 4 weeks. I called on the phone 4 times in a row the phone just rang and rang then went to voicemail. I went up there with no one at the window but herd ladies talking. I called while in the office and the phone rang and rang. They would not pick up. I knocked on the window and a lady came out the side door. Not even to the window guys. I told her what I was wanting and of coarse another lady came to the window to tell me no. Business at this clinic is bad bad bad. And no guys I did not see the doctor

Dr Adair made a rude comment to my wife I’ll leave it at that. When I called him on it he refused to make me appointments or even talk to me then all the sudden I failed a drug test 6 months earlier but just hearing about it. I’d been there 3 years with no problems.

Last appointment, waited over 3 hours to see him. Apparently, he was also doing injections that day as well as clinic. His PA is great but the majority of the staff are "below average". I'm in the process of changing PM doctors. I know MY body better than anyone else and I know what helps and what doesn't. You may wonder, why am I looking for a new PM Doctor? He thinks he knows MY body better than I do! Time to exit stage left AND drop the mic!

I'm happy with the way Dr. Adair makes me feel comfortable and tells it like it is! It's quite refreshing coming from a horrible doctor! I would definitely recommend him to anyone including my family. Although no one has ever followed up with me, I will continue to use him.

The wait time after your vitals are taken is sometimes long but, other than that, he is a great doctor and I've never had a problem with staff. They are not good at returning phone calls but, considering the fact I've seen how busy that office can be, I understand why. They could really improve in that area though. Dr. Adair is a straight forward guy and will never advise you to have unnecessary surgeries.

Excellent Doctor in all his fields. Very Professional !! Had help me tremendously with my health issues, I will continue to allow Dr. Jeffery Adair to treat me as well as my extended family should they arise. Thank You Dr. Adair.

Dr. Adair is a great doctor. He is down to earth and very easy to talk to. He is also honest and will not subject you to unnecessary treatment.
