Patient Reviews ?
I am a Registered Nurse. I have spent years working side by side with doctors. I would be doing you a disservice by not giving it to you straight about this so called doctor. First of all I was a
I made my first and last appointment at this Dr. The receptionist was extremely rude so the appointment did not start out well. From the second i walked in that door I was un easy. The dr too was quick and abrupt and not to helpful when i asked questions. The procedure I was inquiring about wasn't covered according to them by my insurance. Funny thing is I paid out of pocket for visit and would have paid out of pocket for this procedure but they did not even discuss any payment options. I was so uncomfortable I found another Dr and staff who were helpful, thorough and made me feel I am in good hands with. Terrible receptionist, staff and Dr made me seemed rushed and hurried. I am not one to write reviews but this was such a terrible experience I just felt I had to,
I have been seeing Dr. Binstock since 2002. I am very proud of my skin. People often compliment me on my complexion and say that I glow. One would think it is because of Dr. Binstock`s fancy
I`ve been going to Dr. B for 20 years for both dermatological and cosmetic procedures. For lumpsgrowth removals, I think he`s the best - quick and precise! And for cosmetic procedures, he never
I have attended Dr. Binstock`s office for all my skincare needs and usuallly in the capable hands of Stephanie Cullane who I adore. I had a mole on my face that reguired the attention of Dr. Binstock
I`m sure Dr Binstock is a great dermatologist for serious skin problems, but as far as cosmetic surgery goes, its better to have someone work on your face that does only that for a living. The staff
I have chosen Dr. Binstock three times to perform Moh`s Surgery on facial skin cancers. I think he is an excellent, caring surgeon who is a perfectionist and loves what he does. He is pleasant, takes
I`ve been going here for 6 years and have been treated by both Jeff Binstock and Stephanie Cullinane. Both have outstanding bedside manners and have displayed sincere care for finding the very best
Dr. Binstock Dr. B is a highly skilled dermatologist and gifted Mohs surgeon. I have seen him on four separate occasions for removal of basal cell carcinoma areas. Each visit his approach has been
First I`d like to mention my overall experience and afterthought of this office was bad...reason being...the receptionist Nicole. She was incredibly rude to me on the phone when I made seperate
After reading some reviews on Yelp, I had a bit of trepidation about Dr. Binstock, especially his regarding his manner. To the contrary, I found him to be caring. He went out of his way to explain
Mehh. The receptionist was average, on Binstock himself.. he saw me for like 5-10 minutes. My skin problem was a confusing one, I must admit, I Googled all the possibilites that might have started my
I`ve been a patient at Aesthetic Dermatology for 11 years now. Although OI`ve never made an appointment with Dr. Binstock I was a patient of Binstock`s colleague, Lewis Tanenbaum, MD, I`ve
I am writing this review ONLY as to Dr. Binstock as I absolutely love the physicians assistant in this group, Stephanie Cullane, who is amazing and has wonderful bedside manner, as well as the front
When I lived in SF, I used to go to Dr. Binstock`s practice. I saw him and every other doctor in the practice at one point or another. I had a wart on my foot which they couldn`t get rid of despite
In April 2011, I visited Dr. Binstock for a check up, having had skin cancer in the past. He noticed a suspicious growth on my face though I couldn`t see it. He performed a biopsy and determined
I feel bad giving a negative review as I dont feel it`s good karma to be \"mean\" or focus on negativity. However, in the spirit of potentially assisting fellow patients, I decided to go ahead and post
Avoid this guy like the plague. He was dismissive, short, and I don`t even think he read my medical history. one would think he`d ask what kind of cancer I have.... he then proscribed a 900
Is it possible to give negative stars I can only give a review for this appointment and I`m sure there are people who like him but this was my experience.Called the receptionist for initial
I have only had very positive experiences with Dr. Binstock and his staff. Being an Irish gal with very fair skin, I`ve had many procedures from liquid nitrogen to Melanoma surgery. Dr. Binstock is
Dr. Binstocks office has always treated me with respect, unlike the posts listed on yelp. I find it suprising that someone so nice could treat others this way. The office staff has always managed a
Dr. Binstock preformed a Moh`s procedure on my face to remove a basal cell carcinoma. This is the first time I have ever had a facial surgery, and I want to explain that the care one receives in
My longtime esthetician has recently started working here. She brings to the table years of experience and I think this clinical setting has taken her skills to a whole new level. Amy is meticulous,
I'm over the bad experience and when I went in today and saw the same women she was much nicer and quite personable so I'm updating my review. - Thanks!
This review is only for the reception desk not the doctors.I had made an appointment. I got there on time. They had no record of the appointment. No one would see me and the receptionist didn`t
I am really suprised by some of the negative reviews. I have been going to this practice for over 11 years. My treatments have included acne treatment, rosacea, and mole biopsy. As far as cosmetic I
The worst doctor I have ever been to. Doesn`t care about patients just at all. He actually likes to make patients feel bad
Dr. Binstock is a man of few words but of great talent. His staff is amazing. I was referred to him for a specific Mohs procedure and though nervous, I knew I was going to have great care. His has
The front office staff went out of their way to get me an appointment, calling both the Marin and SF office. Dr. Binstock greeted me very warmly and was gentle in the procedure making sure I was
I'm very sensitive to brusqueness from doctors, but after several visits I've found Dr. Binstock brisk rather than brusque. He's got a busy practice but will give you all the information and advice…
Dr. Binstock seems competent to me. He examined me before prescribing what seemed to be appropriate medication. My husband goes to him because he performs what's called Mohs surgery, which is very…
I work in the financial district so the battery street location is convenient. They also take my insurance ppo which is important to me. I`ve gone to this office twice. The first time I came in for a spot on my face that I was worried about because I read so much about skin cancer. Dr. Binstock was very nice and told me that he`d have to make a very small incision and take a biopsy which didn`t even need a stitch. It was my face and he was sensitive to that. Fortunately the biopsy came back negative and the small incision healed quickly. I felt so comfortable with his care and professionalism that I asked him about Botox. I hadn`t had any for awhile and somehow I just knew he`d be good. I made an appointment for the next week for the Botox injections. I went in for the Botx forehead, crows feet and while I was there I complained about the dark circles under my eyes. He suggested injecting restylane in that area. It`s one week later and the total result is AMAZING! I look younger, prettier and not tired. It wasn`t that painful and filling the dark circles made a dramatic difference. I think he`s an artist I`m delighted. Thank you Dr. Binstock.
Great doctor, great office staff - just a great team. Dr. Binstock was fantastic - taking his time to explain to me what was going on and what to expect. Walking into his office you are greeted with…
Don't go here! The staff was mean, the nurse was mean and Dr. Binstock was a jerk. I've never felt so uncomfortable at a doctors office.
Very good, he was my doctor for several years.
Complete disregard for patients time! I have had to wait a minimum of 20 minutes for every appointment and several appointments had to wait an hour with my young kids with me!. They make no
I have been there twice, and both times have had to wait 30-45 minutes. The last time I went, despite having a 10am appointment, I never even got to see the doctor because I had to return to work. As of 1045am with me still waiting I told them I had to leave because I had things to do at work, and they seemed to not really care. I think the office is just poorly organized, or at least that is the impression I got having spent so much time in the waiting room.If you have a free day, then certainly go here as the doctor is very nice, but don`t be fooled into thinking that its financial district location means you can make an appointment during the day and not have it take up a lot of time.
I went in for a routine appointment to ask about two problems I was having. After waiting twenty five minutes in reception I was finally taken back, told to put on a gown (which I did not need), and…

After seeing so many not-so-great reviews, I feel compelled to write a review as I saw Dr. Binstock last week for basal cell skin cancer on my face. I will admit the reception is hardly warm &…

Not a Fan. I had a consult with Dr. Binstock for acne, rosacea, and botox. This is by far the worst - and most expensive - botox injection I've ever received. One eye lid is now partially closed.…

After reading these reviews I almost canceled my appointment but since he is close to my work I thought I'd give him a try. He was pleasant, removed two moles, and had me out the door in 20 minutes.
The third star is for Stephanie, a nurse practitioner who works at Aesthetic Dermatology. She's very thorough, knows her stuff, and has a good demeanor. Without her it would be 2 stars or even 1…

Have been to the office since about 1997, whenever I needed a mole check-up and removal. - I like Binstock his staff are mainly twits though in my experience. Haven`t encountered one who I`d call

I used to visit another Dr. in this practice, but he is no longer there, so they referred me to Dr. Binstock. I showed up for my appointment early. When I signed in the receptionist handed me a form…
I wish I can give Binstock MD a minus 100 stars, he is the WORST, RUDDEST and most attrocious doctor I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. I will NOT recommend this JERK to anybody at all,
Maybe my experience was unusual. I went there to have a small blemish on my face looked at. It had been there for several weeks. I was kept waiting for 45 minutes. There was no apology or explanation for the wait. The doctor didn't seem to have any i

Any dermatologist office that can get you in for an insurance approved facial aka "acne surgery" rocks in my book. Wasn't the best facial I ever had, however, it was FREE with my insurance. Politely…
I have been to this office at least three times in the last month and a half and each visit has been as pleasant as possible. Stephanie Cullinane is extremely friendly, understanding and non-judgmental. I do recommend a visit with Stephanie Cullinane if

I've never felt compelled to write on here, but here I go! This man acted like I was the biggest nuisance of his day. He barely listened to me speak, treated me like I was an idiot (I'm not, just a little ignorant), gave me a shot without warning, didn'
Judging from reviews, it seems tough to find a skilled, attentive dermatologist in SF. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this doctor. I had 2 visits (which took a lot of effort-on account of both being cancelled last possible minute due to surgery-in
I found Dr. Tannenbaum to be cordial, pleasant, talkative, thorough and professional. Those who said he "Didn't shake my hand," probably didn't even extend their hand to start the process! They probably sat there like lumps. I've been to four different
Tanenbaum was not very inquisitive. He was not very open to hearing the types of medications i've taken in the past. When I began to describe such medications, he replied with, "You don't want to become reliant on those drugs." Then, he proceeded to pres
Great office, I needed to get in there last minute and the saw me the same day! and I no long waits in the the waiting room!
Quick and accurate. Diagnosed a cancerous skin cell for a family member that had been disregarded by primary physician for several years. Could use a bit more bedside manner in the office overall but…
He shook my hand because I made the first move for the handshake-so I don't know about how he usually greets his patients. He seemed nice when he greeted me. He asked quite a few questions...I agree with the other review...he did not explain the perscri
No smile, no handshake. Asked me only 3 questions. One of which was if he had seen me before. And he had my new patient form in his hand. He cut me off, didn't want to listen to my symptoms. Put me under the light for a second and he didn't even notice th
Dr. Tannenbaum took a lot of time and care in treating me. I went in for an overall skin check-up and evaluation. He found several moles that were pre-cancerous that needed to be attended to. He was very patient, thorough and explained everything in great
