Dr Carlton was the only doctor I ever trusted and now he's retired BEST DOCTOR EVER ð???

Very compassionate, easy to talk with, honest and open. Only had one session with him so far and was very impressed with his professionalism.

When I had my initial visit, Dr. Carlton's nurse said he had allotted 90 minutes for me. Impressive I thought, he'll have time for my questions. He actually spent 2 hours with me: getting my history, doing an exam, explaining my radiation cancer treatment, and answering all of my questions. He wanted to insure that I understood. It was beyond my expectations. I left with a folder of information, a cookbook for a low iodine diet which I needed to follow for 2 weeks, and the thought that this radiation oncologist was wonderful. It was great.

Dr. Carlton is by far the best doctor I have ever encountered. He is humble, professional, patient, considerate and dedicated. He takes as much time as needed to listen and learn about his patients and seems to understand how to treat a whole person and not just the underlying condition. His communication skills are excellent and his bedside manner is quite reassuring. He explains every aspect of treatment and why it is necessary. He is the complete package for those needing cancer treatment and I feel quite fortunate to have had him treat me. I'd been told by many people he was the "go-to" doc for radiation oncology in this region. I now know why they call him Dr. McDreamy.

Dr. Carlton and staff are outstanding. From the first consultation, we had no doubt we were in good hands. This carried through several months of radiation treatement. Dr. Carlton is top-notch and we highly recommend him.
