I recently went to an appointment at Dr. Darnall’s office in Ridley. It took me almost 5 weeks to receive an appointment with him. When arriving, I called the office and let them know that I was 5 minutes behind due to traffic (.2 miles away on my gps). The receptionist, Nicole, told me that I would need to reschedule due to this. I asked her to please extend some courtesy as I was not trying to inconvenience the doctor but rather to let them know that I was only a short distance away. She did ask the doctor while on the phone and he did say that it was ok to come in. The staff in general was unfriendly and handed me paper work to fill out. I feel like this paper work could have been mailed to me prior to the visit. The staff in general seem unorganized and not courteous. Although I did not wait long, I still was not seen until 5 minutes after my arrival. Dr. Darnall is a great, informative doctor. It is a shame his staff does not compliment him.

Dr. Darnall has been my doctor for17 years. He is brilliant, compassionate and available. I recently had to go to three other doctors for “specialty” care. This experience gave me insight into what a treasure Dr Darnall is. Competent, kind and caring, I would recommend him to anyone without reserve. F. Ross

Dr. Darnall is very knowledgeable. I suffered for a week with a pain in my side. I went to Patient First, they ran test and said it was just a pulled muscle. I went to Dr. Darnall and explained the pain he diagnosed it. gave me a steroid and 2 days later the pain was gone.

Instead of saying "I honestly don't know how to treat your staph infection" I was told "Boy! Your a real mystery!" and "Try another Dr. or go to the ER" Never dealt with such unprofessional behavior from a Dr. in my 48 yrs of life!!!!
