Called to make an initial appointment today, transferred to another operator, from whom I found out this is a premium subscription (periodical "membership fee" up front, over and above insurance & co-pays). Dr. Silver requires the fee and a face-to-face interview before accepting a new patient, which he will do only "after the first of the year" (2013) as of this writing (7/6/12). I cannot recommend anyone who does not see medicine as a vocation and a privilege for which there is a social responsibilty to serve society and individuals first and foremost, before business concerns and personal gain. Dr. Silver appears to have put those priorities exactly backward.

Dr. Silver knows his stuff.I sleep him for sleep apnea. He talks to you in a very thoughtful and respectful way.He never rushes. He will take the time to answer any questions you might have. He is a problem-solver. He also surrounds himself with some of the nicest group of professionals in his office. He is accessible. After he left the location I had seen him and opened a new private practice further away from me, there was no question in my mind that he was worth the extra travel time. He is a special guy.

I have alway found Dr. Silver professional, caring, and with great resolve. He has always been there for me through karate injuries, personal conditions, and refered me to the best availabe doctors for speacial care.He is also a great guy!!! John Gannon
