I was impressed on my initial visit. He spent a lot of time gathering medical history. After that, he always spent a lot of time in each appointment, but usually lecturing on some aspect of the US or world economy. He was so distracted by his non-medical topic that he would set down an instrument, pick it back and repeat the test. He orders way too many tests/bloodwork, and scorns patient questions (his attitude is that he is the expert). His test recommendations way exceed those recommended by medical professional organizations, but probably pad his billing. He is very frustrating and assumes his patients can or choose to spend any amount out-of-pocket (regardless of insurance coverage).
