Dr. Jeffrey Lee Wilson, DO

I’ve been coming to Dr. Wilson for my Psoriasis and PsA for years, and have never had a bad experience. He has always taken my symptoms seriously, and always gives advice on ways I can feel better in a wholistic fashion. I have had bad experiences with doctors in the past, and Dr. Wilson is the only one I have consistently returned to and have trusted for many years because it’s clear he wants to do what is best for me, and not just what insurance dictates. He didn’t make me feel like I had done something wrong when I took an unexpected gap due to not having insurance. Overall, a very solid provider, who I would recommend to anyone!

I have met with Dr. Wilson for my first appointment recently. He was very kind, funny, understanding, and informative. I have had many horrible past experiences with providers prescribing medications, dismissing my concerns, and threatening me when I asked questions or told them I was nervous about something. I did not get the impression that he would be close to treating me like that in any way. He was very patient, understanding, took what I said seriously, educated me on many things, and answered my questions. Even the ones I felt embarrassed about being confused on. He seemed like he would do a good amount of tests without being excessive. I do not know what is going on with my joints or inflammation but I believe he will do his best to find out, treat it, be on my team, and treat me like a person. I trust him and his nurse.

I have been a patient of Dr Wilson for several years.He listens to what I have to say. Makes sure I keep up with my labs and when possible will do a virtual appointment since I'm over 50 miles away and sometimes the roads might be bad.I respect his opinion on my prescribed medicines.

Dr Wilson and his staff have always been friendly. Dr Wilson always takes the time to answer any questions I ma have.

He is smart and obviously up to date with the latest medical information as it relates to rheumatology. He has successfully navigated me from my RA being out of control, through some flares and now to a place where my disease has been kept in control for many years. I consider him to be one of the best physicians I have ever had.

I have been seeing Dr. Wilson for a couple of years for my RA, and up until recently when I've been suffering from many side effects from my most recent medication I have felt OK with the quality of care I've been receiving. I am not out to get pain medication, I just want my RA to not be in a constant state of flare and for the medication I am taking for it to help me feel better - not worse. I am at the point where I would rather deal with my RA pain than my medication side effects and it feels like when I call to leave him a message and speak with his assistant, I feel blown off and am told they don't treat the side effects I am reporting at their clinic and just told me to stop taking the medication. Thank goodness for my general practitioner, this medication is known to remain in your system for a long time after you stop taking it and the side effects are horrible. Also, the last time I had blood drawn in the lab at the clinic they weren't very friendly and ran out of the… correct blood collection tube needed for whatever bloodwork had been ordered. My GP has referred me to a different Rheumatologist.
