I have read all about Dr. Ginther in the papers, but what the public needs to read is the statement by the Virginia Medical Board in their Case Decisions. This is online friends. He took advantage of this woman and he was HER DOCTOR at the time; consensual sex NO! Doctors cannot have consensual sex with a patient no matter what!; he stalked her and was convicted by our own State Court; he vandalized her property; was put in jail TWICE; She had to get five protective orders to keep him away from her; HE LIED TO THE MEDICAL BOARD ON THREE OCCASIONS; his peers of other physicians have found him to be a danger in his practice. READ THE VA MEDICAL BOARD's REPORT to get the FACTS!!!

Please get your facts straight before you decide to write a review. Yes you are correct in that Dr Ginther has surrendered his license. Where you are incorrect is in your slanderous name calling "quack and rapist" If you had ever seen his as your physician then you would know that he is no 'quack' and the 'sex with a patient' was during a consensual relationship at the home of the female. Which happened over a year ago. Relationships go bad, people get vindictive and lives are ruined, sad situation no matter who it is.

Dr. Ginther has had his medical license revoked for having sex with a patient. From the Bristol Herald-Courier April 9, 2014: BRISTOL, Va. - A Bristol, Virginia doctor is surrendering his license to the Board of Medicine after admitting he had sex with a patient. The board already suspended former doctor Jeffrey Ginther's license back in February, but the doctor decided go ahead and surrender his license last Wednesday. According to the consent order from the Board of Medicine, Ginther engaged in a romantic, sexual relationship with a patient two years ago. Ginther was ound guilty in Bristol general district court last year on a stalking charge involving his former patient and was sentenced to a year in jail. The court issued five protective orders against Ginther, forbidding him to have any contact with his former patient. Ginther is not allowed to petition the board for reinstatement of his license at any future date.

Dr. Ginther is a caring & well educated doctor. However, his office staff consists of several family members, one older man which cannot hear well & Dr. Ginther's wife who is helpful if it doesn't cause her too much trouble. The receptionist (Carol) has a terrible attitude & does not seem to like her job. She always acts like you are inconveniencing her no matter what.
