Dr. Jeffrey Stidam, MD

My husband was a patient of Dr. Stidham’s. My husband was in his early 30’s when he was first diagnosed with heart problems. Dr. Stidham was his first cardiologist. We were pleased at first but then Dr. Stidham started being neglectful in his care of my husband. He was not sure what to do with my husband. And instead of sending us else where he messed around for three years and did not do anything to help my husband. We ended up at the Cleveland Clinic and after our first visit they had my husband back to implant a pacemaker defibrillator. Something they could have done in Louisville but chose not to. Then we went back to Dr. Stidham because we didn’t know any better. Soon my husband ended up in the hospital for a month. We switched cardiologist and my husband was almost immediately sent to be evaluated for the transplant list. He was placed on the transplant list the next week and we began our journey in the care of UK hospital cardiologists. I am sad to say my husband is no longer on… this earth because by the time he was placed on the list he had already declined quite a bit from lack of care. So if he is your cardiologist I beg you to change cardiologist to save you and the ones you love from the heartbreak of your loss.

Dr. Stidam treats my Mom. He doesn't just take care of her heart issues, but is concerned about all aspects of her health. He is very kind and patient with her - and we all know that means the world to us!

Dr. Stidam is a great doctor. He has a very positive attitude and cares about his patients. He always takes extra time to answer questions and talk with his patients.
