 |  Beat the Rush - Forget about this doctor NOW!  |  show details
May 11th, 2012

Look elsewhere. Don't bother with Dr. Uzzle. First off, he doesn't LISTEN. I don't think he knows how. I have had to tell him the same thing repeatedly, only to have to repeat myself (again - ha ha) because he was off in some alternate universe where they don't speak PATIENT. Worse, I have wasted over a week of my life because this doctor doesn't like talking with his patients, either. He offered ZERO in the way of instructions after I'd had epidural corticosteroid shots. He seemed genuinely baffled that I had not somehow intuited how to proceed with my treatment. Funny, I thought HE was the doctor. After all, it is just my spine we're talking about, not anything that could permanently mess me up if things don't go well. The only reason I'm being this nice is I can't politely phrase what I really think of such a pathetically bad example of any "professional healthcare provider." My vet would have been better.

I had never had an experience with a physician like this one before. I found him to be rude, condescending and very dismissive. He was not open to discussing alternative medical treatment or plans, and cared very little for the amount of pain I was in. I would not recommend him to anyone and would advise others to stay away..

I went to Dr Uzzle for shoulder pain, back pain, and related neuro problems. Dr Uzzle did order MRIs, but then told me that I had arthritis and other "normal wear and tear" in my spine. Being that i'm in my twenties, I would not consider this "normal.". In addition, he dismissed my neuro problems as something chronic that I would have to live with. I went to another doctor, and it turns out that I have a dislocated first rib, causing thoracic outlet syndrome, which explains all my issues and has a simple fix.

I agree with the others but have another opinion of UZZLE! He is NOT WORTH WASTING TIME GOING 2 C! He comes n 2 room & out within 3 minutes (NO LIE) He gives the same dx & rx each time, but doesnt understand when u try 2 tell him the meds dont work, he says take more or tells you to take something 2 sleep with it, he acts as though its all in your head..told me that nothing was wrong except muscle strain, but once I went to surgeon I was told I had a FRACTURE n Vertebrae n T10/11 area of spine, pinching on nerves and C5/6 area had compression on spinal chord, but there was nothing wrong...LOL!! Im scheduling surgery with surgoen within next few weeks, I WOULD SUGGEST TO FIND ANOTHER PHYCISIAN BEFORE ID C UZZLE if YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO SEE HIM!! HE AINT WORTH IT!!! HE SHOULD BE a PATIENT AT LAKESHORE, CAUSES HE is A QUACK!! LITERALLY!!!By the way, I agree about Wrokers Comp Claims and Dr Uzzle getting them thrown out, cause Im a WC CLAIMANT also, but to him I was treated like a NODOBY, seems after reading other blog about WC we are all treated same...BUT HE IS NO GOOD!! and is A WASTE OF TIME, CANT STRESS ENOUGH!!

by James Carter on Feb 2nd, 2009

i also feel he is short with patience non careing and almost like it was a job security visit i would half to drive 150 miles one way and instead of talking with me or even returning calls he would prescribe same meds that were not working just in diffrent doses and would always schedule me several appointments a month instead of helping me while i was there knowing i had been in pain for almost 4 years he felt seeing me each time was best for him.My honest appinion he is the reason why insurance and real doctors get the bad name they do over chargeing over billing and always looking for next visit instead of helping you when he could to begin with

My experience with Dr. Uzzle was absolutly awful. He was rude, demanding, and entirely uncompassionate to my concerns and pains. He, unfortunately, is a doctor who hates his job and truly cares nothing for his patients' well-being. I would never reccomend
