Felt she knows better than my cardiologist or primary care doctors. Treated me like i was ignorant stupid because i wasn't on BP meds. Didn't pay any attention to what i was trying to tell her. SHE was the only one who knew what should be done! Rude Rude Rude.

Waiting to be taken into surgery, this woman came in. Didn't get my name right. Then proceeded to berate me about not being on meds for high blood pressure. Didnt seem to matter to her that I was under the care of a cardiac doctor AND a primary care physician and that WE, THE 3 OF US, had a plan, lose weight, exercise, keep a daily BP log, etc and if no improvement within a set period of time, then i will take meds. Dont know who this woman thinks she is to belittle a patient, especially one lying there, ready to go into surgery, and think she knows more than a patient and that patients doctors. Again, aggressive, rude, condescending.

I had a difficult surgery and difficult intubation but Dr Mace performed with excellence and skill. My results were wonderful. Her caring bedside manner made me feel completely at ease.
