Dr. Jennifer Mary Jagoe, MD

Dr. Jagoe is such a wonderful doctor. She's easygoing, patient, and always ready to answer all my questions.

Dr. Jegoe/Jagoe has no bedside manner. She called me “short sighted” for sharing my fears of pregnancy and childbirth. Then she called me a “heavier woman.” I only came in for Nexplanon removal. I will not be coming back and hope other women will avoid scheduling with her; it ruined my day.

I have seen Dr. Jagoe a handful of times - each time giving her the benefit of doubt thinking the next experience would surely be better than the last, a low bar to set to begin with. In all of my appointments with Dr. Jagoe, she would talk down to me, tell me my questions didn't make sense, call me a "worrier," dismiss my legitimate concerns, and walk out of the room before I'm even done asking all of my questions. If I didn't know any better, I would say she hates her job as a doctor and leads a miserable life. She is very condescending and unpleasant to be around and has terrible bedside manners. If it weren't for the other doctors I very much like in that office, I would consider leaving the practice entirely because of her, which I still debate doing from time to time. I have seen plenty of doctors in my lifetime and she is the WORST doctor I've ever had to deal with.

After a rough first trimester and a 5 week long wait for my next appointment, my 17 week pregnant self went into Dr. Jagoes office with a bunch of questions, a few concerns regarding some symptoms and a hope to get an ultrasound! First of all, she dismissed all my questions and concerns by suggesting I was simply a “worrier” in a deeply condescending maner. Second, after learning I wasn’t getting an ultrasound I was surprised and explained to her that on my last pregnancy I had frequent ultrasounds expecting her to explain their clinics procedures, she answered by saying: “If by telling me this you are lobbying for an ultrasound, you’re not getting one. Unless you want to pay 700-800$ for one somewhere else or you could pay ME that!” This upset and ofended me! After trying to uselessly go over this misunderstanding with her, she rushes me out by saying she’s got other patients that’ll get upset if she keeps them waiting. I cried with disappointment, with disbelief, with anger. How can… a respectable doctor treat a pregnant patient like that? I highly DO NOT recommend her!

Dr. Jagoe is extremely pushy about pregnancy. She repeatedly told me that to be a real "natural woman" it is essential to stop birth control, feel your natural cycle, and try to have a baby. She also is NOT being careful about COVID. Don't go see her until the pandemic is over and if you're not a cis-gendered woman who wants to have a baby, don't go see her at all.

Prompt, Caring, & Thorough

I saw this doctor once - and I would never see her again. The office staff were pretty good, however, from the moment she walked in the room I felt like I was worthless. She was very short in her answers, and didn't seem to care what I had to say. She refused at first to give me birth control because it seemed like I didn't need it. Again, I asked for it and she finally gave in and gave me a prescription - would have thought I asked for a thousand dollars. Her tone throughout the entire exam was just rude.

Dr. Jagoe is very professional. She has a very welcoming aura that makes me comfortable addressing my issues.

She was short with me, dismissed my concerns, cut me off at times. I will never go back. A terrible example for females.

It has been a very long time since I went to OBGYN. I was very happy with the staff and my new doctor. Thank you for making my visit easy for me.
