Dr. Jennifer B Manders, MD

I would not recommend Dr. Manders or her office to anyone. I contacted her office while facing a possible breast cancer diagnosis — already an overwhelming and terrifying situation. I suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks, and I explained that I cannot tolerate procedures under local anesthesia due to past trauma and a failed biopsy that left me in extreme pain. I requested general anesthesia as a reasonable accommodation. Instead of empathy, I was treated with coldness and condescension. The physician assistant told me to “call my psychiatrist,” as if my request was irrational. When I expressed how hurtful and dismissive that response was, she hung up on me. No patient — especially one facing the possibility of cancer — should ever be treated this way. This experience left me shaken, crying, and completely unsupported. I have since reported the incident to the hospital and state authorities. Patients deserve care, not cruelty.

Can't say enough about the doctor's and mine rapport

Dr. Manders is amazing. Her level of care and compassion regarding all aspects of my life is exceptional.

Dr Manders explained everything thoroughly and answered all questions that I had. She was also compassionate and cared about my feelings.

Dr Manders has the most phenomenal bedside. She ask questions, listens to my perspective, and always includes me in the decision making process. I feel Incredibly fortunate to have her as my breastfeeding surgeon!
