I walked into his office seeing in both eyes and now I’m blind! He doesn’t make the best decision based of people’s medical history. He’s just a very careless and rude man. Run away because your eyes will be in jeopardy.

This is an excellent doctor, he is people person with lots of concern for his patients. DR Chess is a doctor that I will recommend to my family and friends. I am very happy with every thing he has done for me, Now I am able to see again.

I had Retinal surgery with chess i will not call him doctor.I had 20/20 and now has 20/200 there are better doctor out there .Chess refuse to gave you your medical record.also he doctor the medical record

I am a 39 y/o female. I run my own business in health care in another state. I have had sight in only one eye since I was 9 y/o. the sighted eye has had many problems including retinal reattachments, cataracts surgery and recently glaucoma concerns. I gladly travel from florida to NY to follow up with DR Chess as i respect his opinions, his steady hand, and forthrightness. He has caught a condition in my eye which previous doctors had missed and dismissed (my concerns). Dr. Chess is a true professional and he saved not only my sight but also my career, my independent life, and my self esteem. thank you Dr. Chess. It has been 3-4 years since my last visit and still going strong.

I had two surgeries and now possible will be going for a third. I now cannot see out of my eye completely and am feeling so disappointed. Alot of people recommended him to me but i feel after my experience i should have researched more on other surgeons. Now I do not know if it is safe to just jump to another with only having 4 days out of surgery. My second surgery.

frst week i drive to his office, week after is a surgery. six week after i be come blind. three month after sending me to the light house.

My advice.RUN. Nasty man who is not even close to up to date. Nothing but horror at that "person's" office. Worst Dr I ever had. Just plain awful.
