Out of the multiple things that I struggled with regarding the care I received from Dr. Jeremy Lake and reception, the most frustrating was when I showed up for my follow-up appointment after a colonoscopy, waited 30 minutes after the appointment was supposed to start, and then was told that he "didn't show up". Reception told me they would get in contact with him and reach out to me to reschedule the appointment. This didn't happen until more than a week later. He seems rushed when he is talking with you and is consistently 30-45 minutes late to the appointment. It felt like almost everything at Hillsboro GI was rushed and lacked compassion. That being said, the nurses and anesthesiologist present for my procedure were extremely caring.

He seemed to have ok clinical skills, but not very good at explaining. Office staff quite unpleasant to deal with and facility was dated and run down. Had a bad smell- possibly urine

The Scheduling lady (White gal in her late 40's) that you see on your way out in her office is extremely rude, bossy, and unprofessional. The check-in ladies seem unorganized and slow at times. Wait time is about an hour, with pages and pages of health history to fill out. Dr. Jeremy Lake always seems in a rush to get through the appointments and cares very little about what the patient has to say. He'd rather refer you onto another specialist, but never gives you the name of the specialist. He is the worst GI Doctor I've ever seen.

Dr. Lake was very polite and pleasant. The office however was poorly maintained, and the staff wasn't very nice. I saw them yelling and being rude to a patient on the phone- not professional at all

Physician was good, but overall experience at office wasn't great- staff was curt and uncaring. Office a bit run down
