I can agree with the other reviewers about his demeanor. Not the most comforting, however I believe he is no longer accepting new patients.

If anyone is interested in pursuing a class action lawsuit and filing medical board complaints please let me know!

It surprises me how the W/C board allows this QME to make decisions on legitimate injuries suffered at work, when patient after patient complained of his rude behavior coupled with the lies he tells in his reports. I see that he has complaints from Nevada to California, and where is the help for us patients with legitimate injuries? This doctor examined me, and not only was it exactly as others have claimed, he jerked my knee, and though I grimaced, he did not pay attention to it. I originally recorded the exam, but my recording ran out, near the end. His assistant acknowledged he was hard of hearing, so I asked, how can someone that cannot hear, acknowledge when I moaned and grimaced at the painful exam, if he can't hear me? Where is a department that this QME is certified through, and why havent they reviewed the numerous concerns about the accuracy of this QME's report? Why is he allowed to ruin so many peoples lives? Most companies W/C Insurance companies, I am confident, know… him by first name basis. He comes off as a nice guy, and even makes mouth movement and hand gestures during the exam, as if to manipulate your answers. Maybe this only occurs during recorded sessions, but he does this nonetheless. There were some flat out lies on my report that has profound consequences on my case. Why do I have 5-8 doctors that confirm my injuries, but a guy like this, can throw out those doctors claims and lie about my injuries to dismiss my claim? I have never been more insulted by his report, and it angers me he is allowed to continue evaluating WC injuries.

WORSE DOCTOR EVER! HE WAS VERY RUDE AND DIDN'T EVEN DO A THOROUGH EXAM. I HAVE WORKED MANY YEARS IN THE MEDICAL FIELD, AND HE WAS ALSO VERY RUDE, AND RUSHED ME. HE DID NOT TEST ALL OF MY RANGE OF MOTION, YET IN HIS FINAL REPORT, CLAIMS HE DID. HE THEN TOLD ME TO LAY DOWN, AND SIT UP. I HAD TO ROLL OVER ON THE TABLE TO SIT UP. LATER, IT WAS SAID I DIDN'T GO TO MY APPOINTMENT, YET I DID. THE RECORD OF MY VISIT WAS LOST, AND THEN SEEMS IT WAS MADE UP, AND THE REPORT COUDN'T BE ANY MORE FALSE. I TOOK MY BACK BRACE OFF BEFORE HE ENTERED THE ROOM, AND HAVE SUPPORT CUSHIONS IN MY CAR AND AT MY DESK. I CAN ONLY STAND AND SIT FOR PERIODS OF TIME, UNTIL AM FORCED TO MOVE. HE SHOULD JUST RETIRE AT AGE 80, INSTEAD OF PERFORMING MALPRACTICE!

My husband saw this doctor for a work comp evaluation and I have worked in Healthcare as a Nurse and never in my life has seen a liar like this man, when my husband told him that he could not remember things he was telling him what to say! He said that my husband cane looked new , when my husband has 5 canes that we purchased for $4.99 at the 99 cents store! He forced my husband arm up and pushed him forward ! This doctor is why workers compensation in California is so corrupt because of deceitful doctors like this! He did not leave the room when he asked my husband to get undress , he made my husband feel so uncomfortable ! I helped my husband to undress and this man lied in his report ! People need to speak up and report this Farce to the Medical Board!

This so called doctor is a criminal to the state of California. He will twist cases that people's lives depend on. He does not represent unbiasedly, in fact he's the contrary. This guy should be locked up. Hope you burn in the next life for the misery you've brought to my life you garbage pos.

I will be seeking a lawyer to prosecute this man for a criminal level of fraudulent reporting conflicting with the accounts of other physicians not biased towards Sedgwick. I advice the people on here to file a class action against him personally.

Instead of assessing me he keep questioning my story. He keep asking me tell me "yes" or "no". Keep interrupting me during assessment and saying answer me when I talk to you. Very rude and disrespectful.

I have a worker's comp case going and Dr. Sherman is the physician for the defense. I believe he rents medical rooms for like a day or something because they didn't have his name on the door. It was in a bad part of town. He started questioning me and whenever I would try to go into details with my answer, he would put his hand in my face and say "No, just yes or no answers". I tried to remember exact dates so I won't be accused later of lying later and he said "Just use the word about, it doesn't have to be exact". I had my husband at the appointment for support. He was also there because sometimes I get tongue tied with my answers and he is knowledgeable with my issues. He put his hand in front of my husband's face and shushed him. The examination was a joke, I told him where the constant pain is and he poked and prodded with a toothpick. YES A TOOTHPICK!!!!! I teared up while he was questioning me and expressed that his demeanor and questioning was scary and if he… could slow down. He ignored me and just kept going. If anyone else is being referred to him as a doctor, please ask for someone else. It was a traumatizing experience.

This Doctor has no place in the medical field, he is very disrespectful and demeaning, I never felt so low and hopeless after talking to him, told me I speak not very good English right after entering the exam room and ask me what country I came from and how long had I been here in this country, I felt like I was in a courtroom witness stand being grilled by a lawyer the way he was asking the question and was told to answer only Yes or No. Wish I had Googled his name and read the reviews before seeing him casue I could have asked for another IME.
