Doctor and staff were professional. 15 minutes of waiting time. Doctor and staff were friendly. Surgery site was healing and no problems. My wife and I were healthcare registered nurses. We are retired. We were very satisfied with Dr Batley and his office staff. We highly recommend this doctor.

My wife and I are retired RN's from Carlsbad, NM, and we think the people of Lovington NM are lucky to have this surgeon in your town. He did not know nor did we tell him we were retired RN'S. He explained the sgry to my wife, was friendly, showed compassion and after the sgry he came to the waiting room and informed me of details. Excellent doctor. Office staff was excellent. We like him.

If you value your health at all stay away from Dr. Batley!!! Thought he was nice in first visit. He did my surgery never said one word to my husband or myself when he was finished. Left with the list of when to call if problems after the surgery. I called left detailed message 3 hours later still no returned call so I called back and was treated very rudely and told I should just go to my primary care doctor. Needless to say most of all my problems are from the surgery he did!!! Now going out of state to get what he did fixed!! Awful experience. Read in my file that he said I complained about him on fbook and on a review. You better believe I did and I tell everyone I see to stay far away from him!! And I will continue to do so no matter what he puts in my file!! People have a right to know how rude his office staff is and how bad of a surgeon is.

Be forewarned, This doctor has a better chance of hurting you then saving you. He is pompous, rude, and has caused me to spend multiple weeks in the hospital. He has no sense of responsibility for his poor medical skills. Avoid him at all costs if you value your life!

He left a big scar indentation such that I now feel deformed. Poor bedside manner too!
