Dr. Jerry Glen Ford, MD

Dr. Ford is a very 'hands on' doctor who listens to his patients. I find him to be very personable and 'in tune' to what his patients need.

Dr. Ford is a wonderful doctor and a talented surgeon. I went in for a pterygium extraction because my vision was impaired. He diagnosed the problem quickly and surgically removed the pterygium. It is very difficult when you lose vision at 41 even if it was only in one eye. After the surgery my eyesight is clear in my outlook on life is positive. The staff at Tallahassee Eye Associates is very professional and courteous. I would recommend them to any of my family and friends.

My wife has been seeing Dr. Ford for ten years. Her vision has continued to get worse every year. At her last appointment she came out of the office very confused. I asked to speak to the doctor. I explained that she had recently been diagnosed with parkinsons and had some short term memory problems. The nurse came back saying he had made it perfectly clear to her as to what her problems were and he didn't have time to talk to me. In view of the circumstances, I thought it very callus and inconsiderate, yet consistent with my previous experince with him. Apparently, to him, time is money and that is all that matters. Get 'em in and out and chaching! Ethics and professionalism is of little consequence. Quantity outweighs quality. I would not recommend him for anything. He has no compassion for patients.
