 |  I LOVE Dr. Reid, Joy however, I do not like.  |  show details
Feb 19th, 2013

Dr Reid is an amazing doctor! My daughter has been going to her since she was born. She's always so nice and always about the comfort of the child. You can tell she really cares about her kiddos. My daughter was complaining that her ear was hurting, so we took her in. Unfortunately, it was Joy. She was impatient and made my daughter sit on the table instead of sitting on daddy's lap where she was comfortable. She was scared to be there, and just wanted to be close., Joy said it was more convenient for her to be on the table.....my daughter is 3! it's doctors like her that make kids scared of the doctor! she commented on how "young" we were to have a child. That doesn't matter! I take care of my child and I love her with all my heart! I am so angry with this Doctor. She should not be a pediatrician!

 |  A very personal memory of Dr Reid  |  show details
Nov 22nd, 2012

I'm thankful for so many family memories, from my own childhood, to recently made memories. One is Thanksgiving Day morning 1990. I had stepped back into my hospital room at Toledo Hospital-readying to take my newborn home, and there waiting on the edge of my bed sat my new son's pediatrician- Dr Reid. She stood up and hugged me and said "Happy Thanksgiving to a brand new Mommy!" She had told me the day before that she was expecting ~40 guests~ for dinner at her home on Thanksgiving day, and another Pediatrician would be covering for her. I think Casey was her only patient needing seen that morning, so she relieved the covering doc and took the time out of her stressful day to make sure my new little boy was indeed ready to go home. I sure loved her personality, and am still appreciative of her caring ways.-Wendy Hannum

I do foster care. Dr. Reid is the best pediatrician I have ever worked with. I would recomend her to anyone. She is so intersted in my children's care that she has given me her personal cell phone number for emergencies!! My own children and grandchildren are seen by her.

by Very Sincerely, Jenni (Knox) Zabawa...Kyle's Mom on Jan 5th, 2011

Dr. Reid was my Son, Kyle's first doctor from the day he was born on 12/4/1991 in Toledo, Ohio, until she moved to California a few years later. She is the most incredible person/doctor I have ever known and we miss her very much. She is truly and intelligent, caring, considerate and loving doctor. She was always very professional, yet made the patient and parents feel very special and as much like family as patient!! It is really too bad not all doctors are as kind, knowledgable and loving as she is! The world would be a much happier, healthier place if she could teach her ways to more people, in and out of a doctors office!!!! I have a couple of friends who also took their children to her in Toledo who felt the exact same way as I do....she is truly a special lady and appreciated and missed here more than she could ever know. xoxox
