Dr. Jody Scott Berner, MD

Was a little disappointed that Dr. Berner won't perform a colonoscopy and an endoscopy at the same time. That means I have to have two rounds of anesthesia and, of course, two deductibles.

Dr. Berner has been our gastro MD for more than 20 years... we couldn't be happier! He is one of the BEST doctors we have ever been to. Takes all the time one needs to explain everything and answers all our questions in terms we can understand. We have NEVER doubted his opinions and professionalism and he has a WONDERFUL 'bedside manner'... something missing with most doctors today. We have recommended Dr. Berner to MANY friends and family members with no hesitation and will continue to do so.

The wait times at this practice are excessive, routinely 30-45 minutes. The staff is unfriendly and doesn't seem to care about the issue.

First visit for my daughter was in exam room where this man did not look up from typing in his laptop. He asked no questions just kept typing? Then a 5 min exam to tell me my daughter was too sick that she needed to go to a tertiary hospital

Dr Berner is very caring, and listens to his patients. Takes the time for each one. Follow up appointments often are done by his Nurse Practioner.

Very busy doctor, I tried to make an appointment when i called the lady asked me for my phone number so she will call in afternoon just to schedule an appointment. I refused and said NO THANK YOU and she HUNG UP the phone.... RUDE !!! I guess the Doctor is to busy to make an appointment, I wounder how much time will have to talk or examine a patient ?? I SAY NO THANK YOU !

Dr. Brody is non-communicative. He spends his interview time typing notes on a lap top computer. He does not allow eye contact. He doesn't explain his diagnosis. He's attitude is cold, mechanical and he offers no comfort to the patient and there is no follow up after a procedure.

I can't say enough to thank him & his office staff. Kind, attentive, and extraordinarily helpful! My liver problems were diagnosed accurately and promptly, treated, and I'm a new person. My husband was so impressed he saw Dr Berner for his colonoscopy and thought he was great too. He thought the staff and facilities at the CEC endoscopy center were top notch & very professional. Couldn't recommend anyone better.

If you want to use a doctor who will try to cover up following complications that land you in the hospital following a simple colonoscopy, use Jody Berner!
