Dr. Jody Lyn Pinkerton, MD

Her is non concern a and does look at other options to make sure you don't hurt. Not good bed side manner. If busy sends someone else doesn't bother to show up herself.

I love Dr. Pinkerton she always has a smile, always makes me feel comfortable and always asks if I have questions. Her conversation may be terse at times but I think that is just her personality. She is my gynecologist and delivered both of my kids--now 8 and 11. Every one of my experiences were good. I consider her a blessing.

Love Dr. Pinkerton. I just got pregnant, and have seen her previously for womens well check ups before. She really took her time with me to answer any questions, though I would have liked more advice from her as well. Being a first time mom, I have no idea what to ask or to know what is normal. Giving me a heads up on how I might feel in the next month before the next appt would have been useful. The wait of course is too long, if I have an appt at 10 I want to be seen no later than 10:10, but that's just my way of having to "book an appt." But nonetheless, I love that she is not rushing me with all my questions.And is helpful on giving me tips on how to handle different issues.

Dr. Pinkerton was my OB/GYN for about a year through a pregnancy, delivery, and afterward. Her bedside manner may be less personal than some, but I didn't take it personally. That's just her way. She always asked if I had questions and took time to answer all of mine (I usually brought a list). I had some special requests and situations that might get an eyebrow-raise out of some obstetricians, but Dr. Pinkerton was non-judgemental. Specifically, I wanted a natural childbirth and did not want to unnecessarily induce labor; she was accomodating and allowed me to go 2 weeks past due; I went into labor on my own with no induction. I am so grateful to her for that!

She delivered my baby at Sugar Land Methodist.She doesn't spend a lot of time in the office with her patients, but she does always ask if I have any questions. She's a great OB.

Wow. I am actually shocked to see the two previous comments because I absolutely LOVE Dr. Pinkerton. I have seen her for almost 3 years now and have been through two pregnancies with her and will not switch to another doctor until she decides to no longer practice. She has always been extremely professional and has always made me feel 100% comfortable in uncomfortable situations. My last pregnancy had complications and she took great care of both me and the baby. I am extremely grateful to her and her staff and highly recommend her. My best friend is also a patient and loves her as well.
