Dr. Backer,MD was helping a colleague and I was glad to meet him. He continues the current Doctors plan, but his bed side manner and answering questions were genuine.

i saw dr backer when he was in front royal virginia. he is the best obgyn i have ever had and i miss him. he listens to what u have to say and he talks to you. you dont find many doctors that do that anymore. i wish he was still in front royal.

Dr. Backer is the most caring, compassionate, understanding individual in the medical community that I have come across my entire life. It is strange to say, but, I don't mind my yearly exam as much as I used to before I started seeing Dr. Backer. He is a man, but he does not make you feel as though you are less of a person and he takes your issues and concerns seriously. I don't care where he goes, I will stick with Dr. Backer.

Dr. Backer is Amazing! The Best Dr. To come to Gloucester in Years! He acutally helps you! He finds the problems and takes care of them! He does not ignore your symptoms because you are a woman! He finds the Tumors and Takes them OUT before they become Cancer! I put the sign in my yard because he is the Only Gloucester Dr who helped me. He listened. God has Blessed Him with the Gift of Healing, he is a true DOCTOR. Unlike most in this County.

Not only is Dr.Backer a professional,he is caring, and compassionate. He has helped people in need when others wouldn't, and does the right thing when it counts. How refreshing in todays world!

Not only is Dr. Backer professional, he really cares about his patients. He even checked on me, after he did my surgery, while I was on vacation to make sure that I wasn't having any problems... and I didn't. I wouldn't go to another OB/GYN. I couldn't have asked for more!!

This is the only physician I have ever been to that treats me like a real person not just a number. Choosing an OBGYN is a challenge and I am blessed to have Dr Backer!

Could not get a straight answer as to the need for a biopsy.Billed me additional money after I paid the co-pay.Results of biopsy took a week.Put a stupid sign on the road saying he was "awesome."
