Dr. Joel Hahnke

I have been going to dr hanke for several years to monitor my son's growth. He is extremely attentive, friendly, great with kids and parents, and very accessible in every way. I would highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Hanke is a wonderful doctor who has taken good care of my daughter. I couln't be happier with our switch from another pediatric endocrinologist.

We have been with Dr. Hanhke for almost 2 years and we could not be happier. He is so kind and listens intently to both myself and my child. I read a comment from Feb 2012 and was completely "shocked" as to the negativaty made about Dr. Hahnke and the praise given to the other doctors. As everyone is aware we are all entitled to our own opinion, however, my experience with the "other" doctors mentioned was bordering on negligence; so I switched. We live in the USA and thank goodness for free choice. Thank you Dr. Hahnke for being the BEST endo doctor for my child.

Dr. Joel Hanke is very kind and compassionate. He will explain things to you that can be understood and doesn't use a lot of medical jargon. I never feel that he is rushing us out the door so that he can see his next patient. He will follow up with a phone call the next day if needed and he always has a smile on his face. If you need a pedicatric endocrinologist I highly recommend Dr. Hanke.

I had been taking my daughter to a different Endo and was basically blamed for everything, that she had diabetes, that I didn't know how to take care of her, I decided to change doctors becuase I was tired of banging my head against the wall. Dr. Hahnke was amazing from the time he walked in the door. He listens and takes everything into consideration. He is extrmly personable and wants to get your childs' blood sugars under control. My daughter went from a 12.7 A1C to a 9.6 in three months. He knows how to work insulin pumps and makes the changes accordingly.. mighty happy with Dr. H!!

We are new to the practice of Dr. hahnke. We have seen him a few times so far and are very pleased with him. I am impressed with the communication and he is friendly and listens to what our concerns are. I emailed him about a concern and got a response literally within the hour. It concerns me that the previous person commented so harshly about this doctor though. I wish they had said specifically what the problem is as it doesn't help to not tell us and make us wonder if he's such a bad doctor.

We travel quite a distance to see Dr. Hahnke even though there are ped-endos closer... his quality, thoughtfulness, attentiveness and communication are worth it.

Excellent Doctor, staff etc. Very helpful all times of day and into the evening. Very good with kids! Great doc, great experiences.
