Dr. John Olin Binns III, MD

I went to Dr. Binns for 19 years. He's a really terrific doctor, but his staff is uncaring and actually incompetent. They schedule appointments and forget what time the patient was scheduled for and sent me home because I didn't know they wanted me there 15 minutes early. Annual physicals are almost always postponed. They have put information about other patients in my records causing me to be turned down for insurance and they have given me the records of other patients to look at. They are a complete HIPPA trainwreck and completely unapologetic and uncaring. I finally changed doctors.

Caring, listens, call personally with bad information, best/most efficient nurse of any doctor!

Wonderful doctor. Great rapport with patients . So glad I found him when I moved to Florida.

We have never had a problem with Dr. Binns or his staff. I have been a patient for over 11 years now and my husband has gone to him for probably near 30 years. He has always been thorough and concerned if we have issues. If needed to be sent to someone else for further testing he sends us to people that we believe would go to himself. Hasie is a superstar and always on top of things and together they make a great team! Always a smile on their faces and caring attitude. A shame that there aren't more people like Dr. Binns and Hasie. Would highly recommend to anyone and have in the past.

In a nutshell I was uninsured at the timeand I attempted to make payment arrangements with his "office staff"who talked down to me in a derogatory manner REPEATEDLY when I was only trying to make payment arrangements. My mother passsed away suddenly in December, so I had other much more pressing issues to deal with. I will miss Dr Binns and Hasse his great assistant but due to the complete lack of professionalism displayed by his office staff I will find a new primary care physician. I was with him for 15 years!!! I don't believe in bashing people anonymously over the Internet my name is Dan Clancy and I am an unsatisfied patient. When I needed my doctor the most he turned me away...thanks for the compassion doc

Unfortunately, this physician has taken the position that despite his years of medical training that he either refuses or is unable to address the issue of patient pain. It is highly insulting to be a long-standing patient of his and be told that he won't address pain issues and be referred to one of the "pain clinic" doctors who often are nothing but quacks--just look at their "credentials," anything but impressive.
